Why are some so negative and cry babies?

We won dammit. Enjoy it! Geez. I can’t imagine what it would be to be inside your respective heads. So negative and “everything sucks!”

Be thankful and shut up. Yes we need to improve in certain areas but in the past CJH would lose these type games but today we won. That’s called improvement!

I’m hearing callers on the Tony Basilio show calling for CJH’s head. This is ridiculous. Those are the extreme folks but still the sentiment of whining about everything.
Agreed! screw the Heupel haters. I am glad he’s our coach!

Because for some reason they think milking the clock when there was a real possibility you were about to go 3 and out and give MSU a chance to win the game in regulation is - “bad coaching”

Real ball knowers know he did the right thing.
Herbstreit just said bama would do the same thing we did. I thought it was smart.

The Coaches call the same plays sometimes and they know each other. One thing that upset me was how they ran on us.

Why are so many critical of those who are critical? Let everyone be! If you disagree, move on or post something (politely) explaining your position. Calling someone out is just as bad… I made comments all game but they were spot on.

My opinion? I thought we’d lose but continued to yell at the TV and post positive comments about the players when they made a play.

Message boards allow folks to vent. Fans are fanatical - emotional. So let everyone be and move on.

By the way- GO VOLS!
Now you need to quit being critical of those being critical of critical fans.

Somehow I don’t think you would’ve made a useless thread if we had lost due to JH stupidity instead of in spite of it.

I was griping the whole game like I normally do. I dont think we are an elite team. We have some areas that we are really bad in right now and JH didnt coach a good game tonight. But I am certainly going to enjoy the fact our boys pulled out a gutsy win tonight. I just hope we can improve as we go on defense.
Don’t have to apologize for comments in a game thread. It’s for reactions to what’s happening at the moment. Why people get triggered about this baffles me. When you watch a game live with friends it’s the same comments you’d make to them.

Correct. He made the right decision. People expect him to play like his playing CFB26 and play crazy aggressive all day.

You’re not a ball knower UTodd01. He mismanaged the clock again. At the very least you call a timeout when we get the first down run with 13 seconds to go.

I understood on the first two plays. But once we got the first down on their side of the 50. It was horrible. And the last play of the half. All DB’s were deep. Throw a short pass on the short side of the field. Get 5-6 yards, maybe and get out of bounds. With 1 sec left. Try a long fg. About 55 yards. Because had MSU intercepted that ball, they likely would’ve scored. You see their entire team running our way and we had 4 players in the endzone behind them. And it was our fastest players.

Agreed. MSU was playing deep to prevent the deep ball, but you only needed 10-15 yards for max to take a shot at it. Should’ve used a timeout after the Bishop run. Didn’t end up costing us, but I feared it may come back to bite us in overtime. Heck of a stand by the defense though.

I said it in another thread, but if Matthews doesnt drop that ball and Brazzell play goes the other way in the PI, the feel of this game is totally different. We still, at the same time, have a lot of areas to get better in.
MSU receiver dropped a TD pass earlier in the game as well. And I agree on the areas of improvement.

5 sacks
11 TFL
2 defensive scores
they average 3.5 YPC on the ground

but the defense

Unpopular opinion, but not the defense. We nearly handed them the game by giving them the ball with great field position via a fumbled punt and two picks. I think they scored on all of those so we basically spotted them 21 points.

Dude there’s being critical and then there’s freaking out over every little thing.

Have you seen the in game thread? It’s constant meltdown over any and everything that doesn’t go our way.

I think folks just wanna complain.

There were many fools who were ready to pack up and call is an L in the first half. 🤣

Some people just thrive on drama and misery. You know who you are!
