I didn't put my finger on it until just now!

I was reading through the threads, and I couldn't shake that familiar feeling that I was getting. I was thinking to myself, "Where have I been, what have I seen, where have I heard this talk before?".

Then I finally put my finger on it:

You people sound like South Carolina fans! First, when Holtz came to town, and second when Spurrier showed up.

They're so used to losing that even a close loss is cause for celebration. "We've turned it around, YES! Next year is going to be great! We really won, even though we lost!".

You're in great company UT.

Congratulations on your win!

LMFAO!! Holtz was and still is a washed up old man and Spurrier cant recruit worth a **** anymore! CLK is 34, has the best staff in the nation, period! Bar none!! And every coach on that staff can out recruit anyone out there. Enjoy Timmy and Cryer while you have them. Maybe when he leaves to coach ND, the Gators an have Holtz or get Steveie back.

If we ignore these Fl. stupid post, maybe they will go away. I thought this was a sight for real conversations. Not trash mouth from South Georgia, also known as Florida.:ermm:

you still thinking about us........we're moving on to our next opponent. I suggest you do the same or else, your magical "repeat" is in serious jeopardy. If you want my opinion, Alabama is going to run right over you in Atlanta this year.......

I'm not on the team. It doesn't matter what I think about. I came on here to say "good game" and found that South Carolina invaded Tennessee.

From looking at this message board, it doesn't look like you're moving on from your win against Florida.

Thanks for your opinion with regards to Alabama. I'm not much into counting my chickens before they're hatched, though. We have to make it to Atlanta first.

Oh, what the heck, I'll play the role of South Carolina fan, I mean, UT fan, as well, and predict that we'll go undefeated for the next 10 years, well, unless Jesus comes back! Man, that sure feels great! I'm going to start celebrating right now!

Ron Zook...

Seriously, enjoy watching Tebow run the ball 30 times against any defense with a pulse.
And then consider next season without him, particularly assuming your WRs stay as effective.

This is Jesus' last year of eligibility. You'll have to move on to Mohammed next.

Hmm...I think I know what you are getting at. Oh, no wait, you have nothing legitimate to offer to our forums. Just roaming about VolNation throwing out your opinion on everything and being condescinding in the process.

Your analysis has already been proven to be flawed.

You're right. I made the presumption that UT was going to show up and try to win, rather than play to not be embarrassed too badly. Instead, our coaches were smart enough to not get too innovative, when they knew our vanilla would beat your vanilla.

Once the coaches realized that UT was going to put less effort in winning than Troy did, I guess that they reverted back to winning the game by running it down your throats.

It worked.

I can't help it that UT didn't show up to win the game, but instead, showed up with a big bottle of snake oil for UT fans to drink.

I admit, I should have guessed that, after all, it's not as if Lane has changed since his Raider days. You can only fool people into thinking that defeat is victory for so long. Then, like Oakland, you get run off on a rail for being a con-artist. I figured that UT was going to give our defense a real fight. Man, was I wrong. Not only was I wrong, but I was stupid, since one of my best friends is a Raider fan, and practically wrote the UT script out for me on Thursday. I was like, "Nah, they're going to try to back their words up with actions, and it will be a close game". Lol! Alrighty then!

What a strange place UT is, where they celebrate losses and expect their opponents to apologize for winning.

Urban, is that you? If not, please remove your head from his ass.

If we get under your skin this much when we lose, I can only imagine how suicidal you'll be in the future.

This is too much fun.

FYP.

For weeks we have been deluged with Gator Trolls making similar claims.

Yes, but not me. I never predicted any score. I simply said that Kiffin is a knothead, and we'll win the game.

Now, I can celebrate for the next 12 months... er... I mean years. That's the ticket!

Can't get an answer from any of the Gator trolls so I'll try with you. Were you satisfied with the game results?

Let's assume your take is correct, it still doesn't change the fact that a much more talented team could not roll the less talented Vol squad.

Let us visit what your offensive coordinator said about this game........I believe he all but came out and admitted he was out coached.

Even if they did go vanilla to beat us by necessity or design it simply doesn't matter. The team that was supposed to win won.....what your missing in the equation is that same team was supposed to roll the Vols and avenge the butt hurt Meyer feigned over CLK's comments. He was supposed to take of that on the field by scoring early and often, but he didn't.

Look at it how you will, anything less than a beat down was a victory for this football team considering the talent gap!

Is that why Urbie had to "lighten up" the dressing room--the gators were sorely dissapointed in such a poor showing and close victory and they were all obviously upset about it. No way they planned a vanilla game.
I think those 2 powerhouses they started with made them believe they are better than they are and thought all they needed to do was show up and EB and clan would cower. Didin't work, did it?

It's more like we went 5-7 last year. You wont the NC. We were 30 point underdogs and lost by 10. Yall were supposed to blow us out and use all these timeouts at the end of the game to rub it in, but you couldn't. Enough said!

We are happy that we only lost to the #1 ranked team by 10 points, especially after the sorry loss to UCLA last week. If this would have been under the previous coaching staff we would have gone down, gotten blown out, and quit for the rest of the season.
