That is why I say we need a solid OC and for JoNes to get out of the way. There should be no doubt he can get the players. Our DC is serviceable with a quality OC.The scary part is that Hart wanted Strong over Jones.
Even if they theoretically fired Jones, which I don't expect to happen any time soon, I have zero confidence the brain trust could bring in anyone better.
I think the best thing is to ride Jones' recruiting and hope they can start lucking into some big wins.
About all you can do.The scary part is that Hart wanted Strong over Jones.

It wasn't coaching that allowed a 4th and 14 to go 70 yards. It wasn't coaching that missed a 55-yard field goal by a few inches. Coaches don't make plays; players do. When we needed to throw the football, we threw it. The bottom line is that we cannot fire our head football coach every time we lose a game we should have won. Period. We've already had 4 coaches in 6 freaking years!

If you think our offense was excellent would you like some ocean front property in east Tennessee?
When you lose a football game, you want someone to blame. Had Medley hit that kick, your passion about poor coaching wouldn't be there...would it? Take a breath. We're going to be ok. We have an opportunity to take the next baby step toward relevance again. But it may not be this season.
Stoops will spank butch this season and the Vanderbilt game is 50-50Maybe some lakefront property on Boone Lake! I'll say again that 27 points at Florida should have been plenty. Except for the last run out the clock silliness the offense did what had to be done. Florida has a crap offense, this loss is on clock management and D play calls. For Pete's sake Kentucky held these buffoons to 14.
"That freshman QB outpassed our Junior QB. He wasn't a Freshman in the 4th Quarter. You don't bring the house on 4th and 14 and leave your DB's exposed. Sorry."
No, you just give them all the time in the world huh? Cause that's what happened. That worked out great didn't it?
