I can't support Butch anymore

Execution was atrocious.
That's not defending Jones or staff. After all,
they are the ones coaching them on execution.
Our players screwed up often but it looked like
pitiful preparation... which once again, is the coaches job.

As I've stated before, if we don't find a passing game, it's going to be a long season.

I'm not mad about this loss, a little hurt, but not mad. It wasn't an anemic 4th quarter Offense that lost this game, this one lies squarely on the Defense.

Oh well, bring on Arky....

Actually, the three and out conservative runs for negative yards certainly didn't help on their last drive. A first down would have iced the game and it was obvious that was not in the plans.

All we can do bubba. But I gotta say and you know me,but I'm starting to feel like CBJ can't win here
Yeah I'd be a fool to think otherwise. I am not ready to give up on Butch just yet but I really am starting to have my doubts. This and the OK losses are inexcusable.

I'm sure I will still watch the remaining games, but the hype and build-up for Saturday's is over for me. Going to try to forget about football 6 & 3/4 days of the week now.

Does anyone think Butch would shake up his staff mid season? Or if our Athletics Department would fire him after tonight? I'm not sure of we can reach 6 wins like this. With the talent we have amassed this is disturbing.

I have defended this staff but no more that was abysmal. Also mosely is trash he is absolutely terrible.

Malik Foreman was the db that got burned on the touchdown. I said it during the Bowling Green game, he is not an SEC caliber player. It's a shame we have some great players but you're only as good as your weakest link and we have several of them including Foreman

I don't know that they coached scared. I think they just make some very poor decisions. I don't think he ever brought pressure on 4th down the entire game. I don't criticize the non-vertical passing game because Dobbs simply can't make the throws but some of the 3rd down calls were very conservative and would rarely work.

You typically lose! Butch is proving to be a very poor game day coach. Horrible time-outs, conservative play calling, not making adjustments, losing large leads in the 4th quarter. Great recruiter but that's going to start taking a hit when you can't win games. How short is his rope now? I'm not sure this team wins more than 5 or 6 games now.

Butch is weak at heart. When he didn't go for it on 4th and 1 vs Oklahoma he told Stoops "I am weak" and Stoops knew he had him right then. Tonight when he called Timeouts for McElwain to get organized to go for 2 of his 5 first down conversions he made the statement that "not only am I weak at heart, I will choke too."
