I will tell you now do not get pulled in NC and VA they do not play around and suggest you slow down anymore. If they tag you and it's HP they'll bag you and don't care.

I got 2 in one weekend. One on 85 outside of greensboro and another in town. Had to get 2 different lawyers but both were dropped. Worst was little over a year ago I got popped 34 in a 25 school zone but it was 30 minutes to an hour after school had started. That one I got a lawyer and avoided it on my insurance but it's on my record.

Aren't lawyer-fees generally more expensive than tickets and court costs?

I can't speak for other states but with the NC points system it's always always cheaper to have a lawyer plea it down o drop it completely and avoid insurance points. Because essentially you are paying for it for 3 years at that point.

These are most of the traffic violations I have been charged with. I'm sure I've forgotten a couple.

Those bastages have tagged me for all of mine. Local cops are fine, hell they are usually speeding and texting and not paying attention. Even the school zone one was an HP ahole. You'd have to know the location and road to know how ridiculous it was but I was going under the normal speed limit, it was a HS not some elementary school and classes had started 30 minutes before. That jackalope. NC bumped the fines and penalties way up for school zones thanks to that dbass racecar driver that decided to roll 100 through his neighborhood a year ago.

Must be a NC thang, brah. In Ten-A-Key, we either pay or show up and hope it gets reduced.

I have had a ticket or 2. Sheriffs deputy clocked me running 170+ a few years back in the MACH I I had at the time. He was a friend of mine and we were doing it intentionally to see what it would run.
