I just watched the Lane Kiffin show. I can't honestly see how anybody can say a thing about Urban or Saban making excuses (whining). If another coach conducted a show like that you would crucify him. I stay as polite as I can but pot meet kettle.

As a Vol fan I would never, ever watch the Saban show, for any reason. Just sayin'

That's probably why you may have some misconceptions about Saban. I don't make my mind up from what the media tells me about a coach.

i'm guessing you're talking about him blaming it on penalties...anything else?

No one judges Saban based on the media. People judge Saban because he bailed on the Dolphins before he could run them into the ground after lying about the Bama job.

He is going through the game film and only talking about how the refs aren't calling penalties. He completely forgot to mention the pass interference on Julio that would have made it 1st and goal on the 1 yrd line (A TD there makes it 16-3) He completely forgot to mention the blown holding calls that made up the entire last two drives while Tennessee had the ball. I'm fine with him not mentioning them because that's not why he's there. He's there to discuss the game film. Unfortuanetly he's only talking about the refs not calling things his way.

btw, How is it bad for Tennessee (while on Defense and having your DC on the sideline) when the headset isn't working and Alabama is on offense not able to talk to the OC up in the booth? HUGE disadvantage to Alabama.

Well, first of all, I guess if you say "Pot meet Kettle" then you must realize Saban is a whiner...The first words out of his mouth after the game were "Oh the guys were tired, they need rest, blah blah blah."

He stated the hold call was horrible and the no call at the end of the game was wrong, no whining, just facts. He said we have to score points when we control a half like we did. Again no whining, just facts.

The first sentence works. The rest was absolute garbage.

The gall of an AL fan to come one here and whine about holding just astounds me. Further, Julio keeps stopping like that, he's never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to get a PI call.

Listen, I don't care one way or the other about him complaining. We got the W and that's where it ends with me. It's just hypocritical to have a grudge against coaches that complain and make excuses while praising Kiffin's post game interviews/show.

Your boy JJ stopped on the route and even the commentators said it was a great no call.

Just because our DC is on the sideline does not mean we should be stupid and allow your coaches to communicate and we can't. It is called a level playing field.

Wrong. What he said is "That should be 15 yards and we should be re-kicking" Which is just plain and simple...wrong. He for the 2nd time references a rule that he's not accurate with. In the 19 page thread there's SEC clarity what the rule is and he's wrong.

Right, that's what I'm saying. How it was directly attributed as an intentional hindrance to Tennessee when it was definitely more a hindrance to Alabama is what I'm talking about.

Whatever! Satan and Cryer are to two biggest liars and make excuses for everything. Bottom line, you got outplayed and out coached yesterday, we lost because our kicker cant kick! I hate Bama and Florida but I hate their 2 lying, whinning coaches even more!! Cya in Knoxville next year!!!

This game is a perfect example of why people shouldn't go to competitors chat sites and talk smack. Bama got out played, out hustled and really lucky to win that game. It was something that YOU or nobody in the whole State saw coming, but we as Vol Fans KNEW we had a great chance to win that game. You wouldn't even be here if it ended like should have ended. So leave now and see you next year.

So your first few plays aren't scripted? It hurts the defense because they can't get the correct personnel on the field.
