Our kicking game was bad last year too. I can’t remember the game but swear we missed a ton.

I think you're looking at it wrong. SHOULD 41 yards be automatic? Yes. But it certainly is not in reality. Especially in college. Playing for the field goal is something Majors and Fulmer did way too often in big games. I respect Heupel and he's the best coach we've had on the Hill since Fulmer. But he choked in the big moment by playing it safe in that game. He has to learn from it. I am super negative, but I only am speaking of that moment. Other than that, he has been incredible.
