I am so over Bray

We should stop making it about Bray and make it about developing QBs for next year. Bray and Hunter have bought into the hype and mentally moved on. The past three years have been horrible for everyone. They never achieved their full potential here and are playing to not get hurt instead of to win. Let Worley and Peterman play a chunk of every game. Bray makes poor decisions under pressure, so it's not like it would totally crash our chances.

Crompton was terrible before Kiffin coached him up. I feel Bray, along with several other players, haven't been properly developed by our coaches.

I respectfully disagree. I think Crompton had the talent and the desire, he just wasn't allowed to put them together in a scheme that worked until Spliffin. Bray has more talent, but absolutely NO desire. He is an abject failure.

He was a Kiffin regruit. Lame essentially traded Tajh Boyd off to get Bray. It was one more in a long list of failures that Lame left in his wake.

While I think it was an incredibly bad decision to run off Boyd, Kiffin saw the same elite potential in Bray that had the fans so excited. Bray has not even come close to fulfilling his potential here and has turned out to be a poor leader and game manager. Kiffin did wonders with Crompton; he could probably have coached up Bray, too. Apparently our coaches can't help Bray, and Bray isn't helping himself, so it's worked out badly for everyone.

Considering how good casey was here how could you hate him?

And to say bray doesn't play hard is stupid.

He's an average qb, we are the ones who over hyped him and now were seeing that.

No.......just, NO!

He has above average talent and below average maturity to be an SEC QB and he is a quitter.

I personally hope he goes to the NFL next year and gets the hell away from ut becasue he was actually a kiffin recruit Dooley just got the credit for signing him because he was the Head Coach when signing day was over. He can't take it he looks scared and I probably hate Bray more than I do Casey Clauson give me Justin Worley, or Nate Peterman next year any day of the week. At least these guys will play hard Bray needs to be on his way out.

Whatever man, Casey was a good QB for Tennessee. He was also tough as nails.

Bray has obviously lost confidence in his coaches and, honestly, who could blame him? I sure can't.

BTW, Hunter dropped a game changing pass on the 20 last night that probably would have been the spark Bray needed. After that pass was dropped, you could see that he just doesn't have faith in his surroundings.

Dooley has got to go.

We need to hire the best money can buy for 2013 and wish Bray the best if wants to leave for the NFL.

im dissappointed too but calling out 18-22 year old college kids is just dumb.

i would love to know what all the coaching guru/player evaluators on here were doing when they were 18-22

what, did you lose $$ on the game or something.

WTF??? This guy is the QB for a multi-million dollar industry. He needs a foot up his ass to the knee. If he isn't ready to take the reins and put the team on his shoulders, then he needs to sit the F down and let someone else step up. You look at the best QB's we have had in the last 20 years, Peyton, Tee, and Clausen were mature for their age. They RAN the team on the field. I am not saying they didn't do some stupid stuff off the field, but on the field they were leaders and were CONFIDENT. Bray goes out there and he doesn't know what is going to happen. He is the product of the "don't hurt kids feelings generation". He is a good example of what happens when a kid has a lot of talent, is told he has a lot of talent, is treated like he has a lot of talent, but never experiences adversity. If you don't learn how to lose early in life, you will never learn how to win.

Bray has zero stock in the NFL anymore. Which is bad news for us...

I seriously doubt that.

You would have to be blind not to see the raw, underdeveloped talent in that kid.

Coaches in the NFL are fully aware that Dooley's inadequate coaching has create a stigma in Bray.

Get him away from Dolley and Chaney, and you have a potential champion on your hands.

the spark he needed? I agree with you on Casey. But, Casey did not need a spark and would not have quit because of a dropped pass like Bray did. Casey had one of the toughest mindsets. Bray is not even close. I hope it changes next week because he will be under center.
