I like family guy, but Quagmire isn't really funny, and the musical numbers are downright annoying in their length.

Only in the new seasons... They used to be funny. Now they just fill up the time... And Quagmire used to be a lot better as well.

Family Guy's jokes are not influenced by the plot. Therefore, I could make about 100 jokes and just pick 10 at random to insert into 10 episodes. 95% of the jokes begin, "Gee, this is worse than the time..."
Then, some bizarre situation is described.

Family Guy's first 2 seasons were some of the funniest things I have ever seen. Right now, I think South Park is a little better than the new family guy episodes. South Park goes the farthest though... Nothing more horribly politically incorrect (or as funny) as Cartman walking down the street chanting "Wir mussen die juden ausrotten."

As far as the series go, the best cartoon is the Simpsons, although should have stopped making new episodes a few years ago.

The first two seasons (or whatever they made before it was originally cancelled) are much funnier than everything that's been made since the renewal.

There are a few reasons for that though.

Stewie stopped being evil.
The flashbacks went from hilarious clips relating to the family to often mediocre clips about celebrities that no one has ever heard of.

I watch the show here and there and I always keep an eye out for Old Man Herbert. He's hilarious.

Nice job captain obvious. This is the only show that can take these jokes that have nothing to do with the plot and still be a hit. That is originality.

Welcome to the dark side CBC. Family Guy is the greatest show. As for gay stewie, I don't really know what you're talking about. He's still been killing Lois. He's always had a hint of gayness in him anyway.
