This is a post from me a person and a human not a Bama fan.

For all you who wanted to move on with another coach, I am happy for you and I wish you all better days. UT and BAMA will once again be the game of games that no one in the country would dare to miss. Congrats again.

For all you who wanted Phil to stay. I watched the press conference and my heart broke for Coach Fulmer. He is going out very classy and he deserves honor for his great work at UT. While many Bama fans may hold a grudge against him, as a man and as a Christian I hold no grudge and I wish the Fulmer family all the best.

To all of you as a whole. Who knows what the future holds and who will be the best fit for coach at UT. What you can be excited about is a new era of UT football. Coach Fulmer has done a lot for Tennessee and now someone else will pick up the reigns.

I am truly happy for you all and your program and I am ready for some more battles on the gridiron between the best rivalry in all of college football.

Roll Tide Rev, You are all right. I do not care what everybody else on this board says about you. :)

I do feel bad for the guy, just because of his history with the university and his past success. People just need to remember that it was definitely time for a change. Don't let the emotional send-off cloud your vision for this program's future.
I just hope Foster and Berry's remarks don't turn away recruits. I also hope capable coaches aren't turned away because of the way the media is making this sound like we get rid of a coach for not winning a championship every year.

Please go back to your Bammer forums and discuss how much you love being #1 in the country and how Saban will come down from heaven to take his believers to the promised land.

That was unprovoked. He is an old friend of the board who has been here about 1000 times longer than you.

Thanks Voldad, I am very sincere in what I said. I mean every word of it.

PS. A new chapter is exciting isn't it? :)

Classy post Rev. Things will be a little uncomfortable for awhile, but we will ALWAYS anxiously await the third Sat in Oct. As you well know that game has a special feel that only Bama and Vol fans get to enjoy.

Represent the SEC well - we be looking to knock off the defending national champs next Oct.

It's not a great day to be a Vol. The team is still 3-6 and the school has lost a legend. I wanted change as much as the next guy, but the man is obviously hurting. I say give a little more respect than to say it is a great day.

The guy gave the school 36 years. You don't give that up lightly.

Classy, rev. Pay no attention to the moron who used one of his first 16 posts to show his true colors.

PS. A new chapter is exciting isn't it? :)

The anticipation is building with each turn of the page. Temper that with the sadness of the loss and the fear of making the wrong choice and it is most certainly exciting.

btw. Thanks Rev. :hi:
