A couple of down years, lacked motivation, recruiting slipped, some disipline issues, left us open to fat jokes from other fanbases, golf clap, working like heck, too loyal to his guys, .....

....FLIP SIDE

king of the living room close at one point, 9 wins was a "down year", won a title, got us to ATL several times, respected and loved UTK and I think with the time off he could "right the ship again" and bring it back, it worked for Kansas, so lets pull a snyder and give the big guy another shot.

NO! I'm a Phil Phan but division is bad enough today. He would be very divisive and that is the one thing that he can't avoid. It is time to have already moved on.

Go away.... FAR FAR FAR away

i would suggest you take a look at some of the humiliating loses TN had while the big guy was at the helm.

Why do you think Kiffin had to start walkons ?

We'd be worse off if we kept him. Fulmer of 08 was a very different Fulmer from the 90's version. If people would accept that, it would be clear the right decision was made.

You must be a democrat. Only a democrat can be asked "are you better off now than 4 years ago" and answer "yes"

We would be in Atlanta with Phil this year guaranteed.

We have already been to Atlanta this year and won with Dooley.

Phil's records was not that good in Atlanta.
it was embarrassing getting humiliated by ACC teams in the dome.

No thank you to Phil..... KY would be a good spot for him.

Fulmer is a living legend but I agree with the one who said it would just be too divisive at this point, plus there has never been a coach hired back after being fired..... Snyder retired was never forced out and chose to come back.

good thing we wouldnt have to play an ACC team in the SEC championship game.....we would just get lit up by Bama twice in 1 year.

it's amazing how the line between pre/post-2001 Phil keeps getting blurred as time passes
