I'm so freaking depressed about this program...I'm almost embarrassed about how depressed I am. And to think I was ecstatic about our chances of sneaking up on some people this year in the SEC...cripes...

I think a lot of us share this feeling with you. It is very depressing to go from be hyped about a good season to having very little hope and having to look to next year. What is even worse, next year doesn't look much better if no changes are made.

When we are playing like this it just takes all hope and passion right out the window doesn't it.

I made a bet with an UGA neighbor (I live in GA) before the season began.

Whoever had the team that lost has to go jump in the lake in the middle of January.... I'm seriously bummed at this point. :blink:

We shouldn't get DEPRESSED but we should get INSPIRED to IGNITE CHANGE! Being depressed only adds to our problem. Be OPTIMISTIC that CHANGE is coming. If AL can get thru all their 'issues' over the past, we can surely ride this out.....they dealt with scandal, coaching changes, losses, etc. for years and years. We are TN and we will work thru this and be better for it. GO VOLS!!!

God bless you. I wish I could share in your enthusiasm.

I have a good friend who is an Arkansas fan. Yeah, they kind of suck right now, but they have a light at the end of the tunnel. He has confidence that Petrino will get them pointed in the right direction, and can be patient for a couple of years while he gets the right players in place. I have no doubt that the Razorbacks will be on the rise in the next 2-3 years.

I cannot say the same for Tennessee. Hence, the depression sets in all over again.

The last thing I want is to ride out what Bama went through. But I like the optism even though tough times are ahead.

Near record numbers for this time of day are online right now... popcorn in hand, watching in fascination as Volunteers unravel...

It seems we've had some of our best years under Coach Fulmer and now some of our worst years. I think back to the 2001 SEC Championship game and look at that as the point it started go spiral downward. It seems we've not been the same program since then. :cray:

Yeah this is the time of year I live for and count down the seconds until kick-off but I really don't see us turning this seasons team into a winning team. Last year was different I believe because we still played fundamental and just lost but not this year we are just embarrassing
