Nope, but the Pruitt defenders want it stricken from the record....they even have a standard excuse. “They played it like a scrimmage, and took the competition too lightly.”
Sorry guys...he owns the 4th worst rated loss in College Football History. And it doesn’t bother any of you. In fact, we’re the bad guys for expecting better.
When is he going to start the “coaching” part?I think Pruitt is playing a role. There is no way that he could possibly be as dull as he seems and have gotten to where he is. He's reflecting a caricature of a southern high school football coach. A polar opposite to Butch's fast talking Yankee salesman shtick.
But we don't. And we won't. When we fire Pruitt we'll all get excited about all the names that get thrown around, then we'll all google our new coach to learn more about him. Been there and got 3 t-shirts to prove it.
Can't wait!!!!
Would you tell someone whose starving that they shouldn't eat a sandwich because they'll just be hungry again tomorrow? Let the people be happy. But we don't. And we won't. I cracked up at this. Kiffin getting off a bus. He hasn’t had good luck with buses. At USC they broke the news he was fired by not letting him on a bus, and Saban got mad when he was either late or missed the bus completely. Can’t remember exact details. He looks damn good and comfortable in his own skin around this particular bus. It must have been before all that happened.

The problem is that it doesn’t bother you enough. If you would have just focused more on it we wouldn’t have lost to BYU or UFNope, but the Pruitt defenders want it stricken from the record....they even have a standard excuse. “They played it like a scrimmage, and took the competition too lightly.”

I didn't say who's fault it was and I said I can't wait. Let's get it going. I mean who cares? Give the next guy 16 games and if we're not happy with him, fire him. Our recruiting classes will probably start sucking worse and worse and we'll be paying more for coaches to NOT coach than we are for ones to coach. Who cares? Ain't my money.Well that's Fulmers fault, not anyone here's. CJP isn't going to magically not suck if we don't fire him.

Wgaf?
People not lining up correctly. How hard is it to correct that?
Much harder than you think when there are a lot of young inexperienced players on the field, and when the few seniors that are kind of good enough to even be on the field were not properly developed under the previous regime. On Bama and UGA these types of young players that Pruitt brought in would not see much playing time until their junior year at the earliest (regardless how talented they are). By the way, UT used to be loaded like that as well but it has been a while since those good old days. Pruitt and Fulmer thanfully understand this is how it's going to have to be for a little while and they will do their best to ignore the noise until we have mostly experienced players on the field (that Pruitt recruited). There will be occasional positive surprises as well (because talent is there), but we will have to live with more inconsistency than we would like (translated to loses) for another year or two. Having said all this, I would not be shocked if we beat UGA this weekend (God willing that will be one of the positive surprises on this journey - after all we did have one last year at Auburn as well).
We are very fortunate to have CPF in charge. His 100% backing of CJP is exactly what is needed righ now (for recruiting which is probably even more important than who is the head coach at this time - and this is where CJP has done great so far). Having said that I really like CJP ovearall and hope he turns things around and stays at UT for very long time. He comes accross as hard working no nonsense players coach, instead of slick and obsessed with his media image like CBJ which was such a turn-off and painful to watch. I expect things in W-L column will start improving very soon - perhaps we get a huge W even this weekend.
GO VOLS!
QB play has been bad all year. Everything else has improvedNope, but the Pruitt defenders want it stricken from the record....they even have a standard excuse. “They played it like a scrimmage, and took the competition too lightly.”

Dude, if they can't figure out two DEs on the same side isn't right then the players are just dumb. These are lessons we learn in pee wees.
I agree. When you lose to GA State and BYU it doesn't matter if you have 16 or 60 you suck and you gotta go.
Do you realize anyone here could've done his job this year? Anyone could've done what he's done this year, which is only beat Chattanooga. Take your pick.
Yes, since Schiano, we have been showered with unwanted nasty attention.
(Did you see what I did there without taking a direct shot at Pedophile State University).
Wait...what...still too soon?
