This! He may not be the answer here, but UT can’t afford to replace him. When I say afford to replace him i don’t just mean financially, I mean the image/reputation of UT can’t take another hit, not after just 2 years with a new coach.I'm not 100% sure in Pruitts ability, but I am 100% sure that unless he quits, he will be here next season.
We might continue to go down hill with him, but the truth is the other option would be far more detrimental. We couldn’t get a quality coach last time due to not wanting to pay. We also couldn’t get a PROVEN coach because they most likely wouldn’t even pick up the phone, damn the money. For a proven coach it’s not worth the risk to your reputation to go to TN and have the card stacked against you. For most of us cash speaks, but for a proven coach the reputation is what makes the cash speak. Coaching at UT is going against the odds of adding positives to your reputation.
