I have a buddy that is a die hard Vols fan and anytime he and I talk about the game while it is happening we self destruct and find a way to lose games that we are winning. So guess whos phone will be in the back yard for the duration of the next 2-3 games... This guy's. LOL

I never had a dog until 3-4 days before the Auburn game when a goofy coonhound-looking puppy showed up at my workplace with no collar and no tags. He's been there ever since and I guess he's mine for keeps. Now, except for the expected drubbing at the hands of Alabama (but it could be explained that me & said dog were in different states that day) UT has not lost to a ranked team since that dog showed up...

I sure hope you've put an orange and white collar on that pup and named him Smokey or Peyton

During the Auburn game I posted in the game thread that If we beat Auburn I was going to name my new pup Smokey, so there is that. Lately I've been calling him Bandit because he grabs anything not tied down. He is also variously called/known as Larry (Larry the Dog, my own nickname since college but with only a couple of close friends being Larry the Dwarf...), Little Doggie... and A***ole.

They don’t have throwback designs. I’m not a big fan of orange generic Tennessee branded t-shirts.

I’ve had to work on the Auburn and Kentucky games so had to record them. I’ve been off work and watched live at home when we’ve had all our big losses. I am off this Saturday guys. No I’m not recording and watching it later.

We’ve found the source of the curse guys. Ashevolle hasn’t been performing the necessary rituals and here we are still fighting our way out of the worst decade in memory.

Me too. Been telling my wife for years I wanted a dog but she's a cat person. I became a cat person too when a little kitten accosted me on a work site in a natural gas plant in North Texas (this was about 4 years ago) and it rode home 10 hours in my F-150; so we have a couple of kitties at home. Now with Smokey at my warehouse/property in the country things have come full circle.
