Would you rather see a Tebow-less Gators win the SEC east or the Gamecocks? Im not trying to lessen our chances next year, im just playing the worser of two evils here. I NEVER want to see the Cocks have any sort of bragging rights and would rather see the Gators win again than see these mediocre queens win something significant.

I have to agree with you. We've seen how bad the Cock fans are at mere mediocrity. It would be terrible if they won a championship.

I'm tired of the Gators, so of the two I suppose I would rather see South Carolina win the East.

Obviously-The Gators, but I think Steve may have his first legitimate chance at the East next year. Many a Gator fan would support him too.

Carolina has it's best chance in forever to win the East. I still don't see it happening though.

god you guys got to be crazy i wish every year that somehow flordia goes back to the days before spurrior brought them to be a conference big dog ,i id like to see them wimpering out in the rain like a little ****t zu who cant get to the good grub fast enough ,dead last i would pull for vandy or that blue team as long as our streak stays intacti was in 8th grade last time the cats beat us in football,so id pull for them over flordia with the exception i hope im too old to care when they beat us 25 more years.

I hope UF loses every game ever! I hope their fan base loses it's vocal cords so they shut up. I hope everyone in gainesville gets tasered, every day for the rest of my life.

I agree that I couldn't stand to see USC jr. actually have bragging rights for winning something, it would be horrible.

Considering how pathetic South Carolina looked today, I'd say a shot at the East next year looks pretty doubtful.

If South Carolina can't win the East next year, they're never going to. The race is wide open in the East, but Alabama will be head and shoulders above the rest of the league. As far as the East goes, I could NEVER pull for Florida, so by default, I'd have to go with South Carolina. Whoever wins the East probably will have a minimum of two losses.

I would agree with this. They looked pathetic today. I realize we looked horrible too but we at least played a top 15 team. UConn? Seriously?

Not South Carolina because if they win the east then we will have really been terrible.

In all seriousness, with all this crap going on with Meyer, even with him being there, as many early exits they are going to have to the draft, the East is pretty wide open next year, we got a great shot if the recruits Kiffin has coming in, play at a high level early.....JMO

Having USC helps us more. UF has become so dominant nationally that we need the perception of the SEC east to change where people don't automatically think of Florida. From recruiting on down, before we can take over, Florida has to get knocked off, probably several times. IF USC wins that means UF lost and their national perception as of late, as a dynasty takes a hit.

I agree, i think that even in a down year, south carolina won't have a snowballs chance in hell to win it. their offensive line is down right awful, their receivers can't catch a cold, stephen garcia just isn't that good, and the old ball coach is simply past his prime. i will say that they do have a pretty good defense, even today, as bad as that offense played, they were lucky the score was only 20-7, even if it was against uconn.

well keep in mind people, we did win the east in '07, it's not like it has been forever. I do think we have as good a chance as anybody, but i'm not going to get my hopes up.
