Eric Berry is known by many as the second coming of Peyton Manning, but many consider Bryce Brown the future of Tennessee's success once Berry moves on, likely after this season.

So what kind of mixed emotions would you have if the following report surfaced midway though Tennessee’s practices…..

“………..the offensive line is progressing and star recruit Bryce Brown is becoming a force to reckon with, just ask All SEC, All American Eric Berry. During a live action play, Bryce Brown ripped through the line and met Eric Berry (both at full stride) and leveled the SEC’s best defensive player in a vicious collision on his way to a 60 yard touchdown run."

If this were to happen, BB would be starting against WKU. However, it's not going to.

If they both ran into eachother at full stride, they would create a wrinkle in the fabric of space and time which would cause a tangent universe to be created. In this new universe Tebow is a gay Pizza Hut delivery guy and Urban Meyer is the "stapler" guy from "Office Space."

The earth would explode with the force of 50 bajillion (yes, thats bajillion) tons of TNT, thus giving us no time to react to such an utter defiance of the laws of physics.

Yay for Bryce, way to go!:dance2:

EB gets up unphased, meets Bryce next time...strips ball from BB and returns it 70 yds. for a defensive TD.

best of both worlds. :p

Well let me give you an example.... Jason Allen, IMO, was a great DB, not an EB, but great.... yet he got ran over by AU's RB (Williams?) back in 04'…

So “IF” his happen to EB, I would obviously have mixed emotions, I would feel bad for EB in that he got ran over, but I wouldn't attribute the event to EB's short comings, but more to BB's greatness.

that's what i'd imagine happening. EB would crdit BB for a great hit.... EB is all class.

Just ask Moreno what he thinks of Berry. Considering no one in the SEC can rip through Eric Berry, I would have to say that UT has a good one if that were to ever happen.

Well, considering I've only seen Eric Berry miss 1 tackle ever, I doubt it'd happen. That tackle was actually a missed sack for a safety against Kentucky. He got to the QB, but only got his feet, and he got away. It was the angriest I've ever seen Eric. He got up and was pissed...We were already winning by a ton, too.
His passion for perfection is incredible.

Honestly, I would be rooting for EB everytime right now. EB has proven himself on the field and has given us as UT fans so much. BB has not given us anything to root for.

This would only happen if EB was trying to square up for a solid tackle and slipped or something, I have seen that happen before and it looks as if the defensive player was "trucked" when in reality he was just caught out of position.... The Jason Allen situation also isn't comparable b/c Allen was stationary trying to make the tackle IIRC.... If they are both going full speed and make solid contact, then Eric Berry wins, solely because he knows how to tackle unlike some DB's we have had in the past

EB got juked pretty bad by Cory Boyd his freshman year. It's on youtube somewhere

imo, there are very few things more exciting than the memories of Vol rb's breaking it for long TD's... can't wait to see the new guys do it.!!!

None of us would ever find out because Adidas representatives would swoop in and confiscate all video footage of the incident and erase the minds of all witnesses with the little flash thing from M.I.B. :)

if i remember correctly, people used to think that Jason Allen couldn't be trucked... and then came along cadilac and ronnie brown. We all learned real quick the outcome of that.. Pretty sure that brown vs berry might be a little more even then you'd think.
