Humbling year fueled Jalin Hyatt to ‘change everything’ this offseason

Good read… I am fully confident in Hyatt taking that next step and becoming the Wr I expected him to be when he signed… Tillman set a great example and it is great for Hyatt to humble himself and really increase his work… CJH is really changing the culture and we will see it reflected in the way we play this year… will it result in a better W/L record I believe so but that’s yet to be determined… but I can say with confidence that this team will play hard and compete every single game and make me proud to be a UT fan…

He performed well for the 4th WR. I know people were disappointed, especially after a promising first game in 2021. But he wasn't gonna get too many opportunities with Payton, Jones, and Tillman balling out.

He had some a few drops that would’ve been TDs past season….seemed to lose focus. Dude has a no ceiling with his God given DNA. It will be a major disappointment if he doesn’t become an absolute nightmare for DC’s this year. He has game breaker abilities.

Excited to see that Jalin is finally getting his head cleared...extremely high ceiling for this man.
Would love to see Tennessee have a battle at WR1 between Hyatt and Tillman...we could end up with TWO guys at 1000 yds receiving !!!

He has the kind of speed that defenses are scared off. If he stays consistent, he’ll be outstanding. He did show up in bowl game.

I hope so. Hyatt is a receiver that can blow up in this offense. Maybe he just more playing time. He should get that in spades this year.

I hadn't realized how well Chaney schemed FOR him back in 2020 as a frosh until I rewatched some of the games. Jaylin never had to fight through jamming off the line as a freshman. Not so his sophomore year and his comfort level was not there- contributing to drops and then less PT.
Absolutely need him now.

I like the talent that's there in the WR group. Need 2 other guys to emerge alongside Tillman. Calloway and White are my picks- if not Hyatt. All 3 mainly SL players but Calloway does also play FL.

Squirrel has been turning heads all spring they say he has a lot of tenacity to go along with his skill set… I won’t Ever be worried about the offense under CJH… it’s not a matter of if a player will it’s more of a question of which players will step up… I expect Tillman Hyatt Calloway Keyton Squirrel Holiday and Merrill to all contribute this season.

Just imagine the DC's trying to scheme Hyatt, Squirrel, Tillman, and Calloway . . . the speed alone will force a lot of D's to play off of the line, ditching the bump and run 'cause the corners will be left in the dust. I also like our TEs, physical and can catch.
