I mean, this is the NCAA so there is always the outside chance that they wake up on the wrong side of the bed and decide to give us the death penalty, but I have heard NOTHING to indicate we have a lot to fear.
On the contrary, every thing I have heard leads me to believe that we were initially going to be hammered and proved that as a university we did our part and that it was all Kiffin/Reaves going behind the school's back.
There's a big difference on what I believe and what has been established on record.
I have no doubt Ed O is as shady as they come and Kiffin probably isn't far behind. However, it doesn't matter what people "believe", he has never been named in an NCAA official report thus it would be very hard to justify that UT hired a known transgressor and punish them for that.
It's really not that hard to understand.
however the NCAA is not a court of law and they dont adhere to the same standards to determine guilt.
Wouldn't they then ask why you didn't fire them immediately? What about the David Blackburn defense - i.e. he tried to stop Kiffin and crew, and they violated his direct instructions. Thus, the Athletic dept is saved, blame is placed on Kiffin and crew? I thought that was the story from the Allegations letter?
you dont believe that the NCAA deliberately targerts certain people or programs? You've obviously never spoken to a Bama fan.
