The Hyams is currently on Nashville radio gleefully predicting scholarship reductions and 3 to 4 years of probation for the football program due to David Reaves' testimony to the NCAA that the former staff financed and orchestrated hostessgate... we may be lucky to avoid post-season ban per Hyams as well...

a receipt related to the hostess trip to South Carolina signed by David Reaves. You have to think about the fact that Reaves was not invited to the party in Southern Cal.. This info surfaces in the same day MH steps down. You really dont have to be Fox Mulder to connect the dots.

If this is true, this is just another case of a school being punished and the shady characters go unharmed. The NCAA needs to grow a set and change this now. Punish the schools if you want, that's fine. But the Carrolls, Kiffins, Tressels, etc, of the world need to get theirs too. (I left out Pearl because I have a feeling he'll be slapped with something soon)

Reading between the lines, I don't like how this is shaking out for the NCAA. The timing is very suspicious right before the NCAA hearing. It is almost like UT wants to say to the NCAA "Look, everyone is gone who was involved. Pearl is gone, Kiffin is gone and AD who hired them is gone. And look here, this is clean-cut, rule abiding Derek Dooley and Counzo Martin. See, we aren't really bad."
I have a very strong feeling we are about to get our orange arses handed to us. Doubt it will be as bad as USCheat but for those you expecting a slap on the wrist or a minimal punishment, I think you are wrong. I have a feeling things are about to go from bad to worse. I hope I'm wrong but I don't like where all this is heading

Not sure what dots you're connecting, but Reaves was left behind to be the fall guy. Him ratting on the Kiffins is the exact opposite of what the "dots" would suggest.

While I think Hyams is just guessing at the facts (as usual), I have a feeling he's not too far off. I think TN is going to have a pretty stiff ruling.

I hope for the love of all that is good and pure, this is not true. The Hamilton resignation is a bit scary at this point though.

While most teams cheat and win conference championships or national championships, Tennessee cheats and goes to the Chik fil A bowl.
