regarding the 3 juniors, JRM, Kamara and Sutton that he expects all 3 to return to Tennessee next yr.

That usually means all 3 are gone!

Doug Mathews agrees with Hyams. Doug sometimes puts me to sleep, but he's so vanilla and guarded with his words, when he says something bold, I usually listen.

But we'll talk about that a little more later.

Not smart for Kamara or JRM to go.... need another year and JRM could gain another 8lbs to look a little more attractive to NFL scouts.

Wow - if true Vols most definitely are a premiere squad heading into 2016. I believe all 3 could help themselves with another year and playing on a championship SEC team.

JRM needs to gain the weight and be able to prove he still has his speed and quickness. If he gains the weight now and runs a 4.75 at the combine, he's screwed himself. He needs to be 235-240 and still move like he does to have a chance to get drafted in the 3-5th rounds. NFL team wont take a chance on him hoping he can gain the weight and not slow down. Too many other guys that size already that they know what their speed is.

Kamara just doesn't seem anywhere near physical enough to play in the NFL right now. Outrunning some college guys vs NFl guys are two different worlds.

2 of the 3 won't get taken in 1st two rounds under any circumstances. The 3rd might get taken in the mid to late second, but could miss altogether. If you're not in the top 2 rounds you should probably stay barring other issues. Money to feed the family isn't a consideration because if you don't get in the top 2 rounds your earnings take a huge hit.

Read somewhere yesterday, maybe on this board that Sutton is projected in the 1st round. If so, I say he's gone.

8 lbs? Not 7lbs or 9lbs? Why 8 lbs?

you're losing focus...7 is the number!

All three are NFL talent, any team that gets them will get their money's worth, no matter how much they pay.

Go Vols!

If JRM gets up to 235-240 and doesn't lose any speed then he will get picked way higher than the 3-5th rounds.

For selfish reasons I want them to stay but if the three of them are hearing good news for the advisory board I don't blame them for leaving and making the money while they can.

IMO Sutton would be the only one to benefit from leaving early. I think AK and JRM could benefit from another year, but what do I know.
