Bottom Line is if he stays and wins next year...1 or 2 loses, the fan base will be back on the bandwagon. If he goes then we risk the possibility of becoming Alabama and enduring 12 years of trying to find a coach thats the right fit...The future doesn't look good.

This is the type of thinking that has lead to a 10 year drought in SEC Championships, no BCS bowls in the new decade and a great acceptance of mediocrity. The difference between our program and the top tier in the SEC has to be an athletic director's view of program expectations. Jeremy Foley sent a winning coach packing and hired a championship coach. Same at Georgia and Alabama. At Tennessee the attitude is "just keep the money flowing" and we can sell the fans mediocrity and they will never notice.
