Can UT run the football? "Haven't seen any evidence of that."

"I've been disappointed in the O-line"

"WR not blocking well."

"TN won't get more than 90 yds rushing"

Will not have same success with quick scoring that they did with GA State.

Fulmer will not return as HC.

"FL's defense 2nd half at Texas A&M was outstanding"
FL defense is banged up.

UT Defense can bring pressure on Driskel, but not A&M level of pressure.

Rivera is a weapon. Who will FL try to take away?

Rivera, Patterson or Hunter. No threesome in SEC as good as those 3.

Passing attack is "prolific"

Wildcat will be thrown at FL. Expect pig howard to be used more (in wildcat).

If UT struggles in run game, they will go to wildcat.

No news re: Bryce Brown.

Dooley has no confidence in Palardy (no $#@*). Needs to improve on Special Teams.

On break...

OL has been fine IMO. Obviously this is a whole new test. Hard to say how many yards on the ground we will get, but if we can move the ball through the air it won't matter.

Mo Couch has played well...has been moved around a lot.

Don't know if Maggitt and Lathers will be available for UF. Lathers will fight to play.

Run game struggles b/c of a O-Line that can't get the push they should. But RBs aren't helping a lot...not hitting holes and not breaking tackles. UTs RBs are "pedestrian" compared to rest of SEC caliber RBs.

UF will try to run it right at UT...will see more Brewer and McCullers in this game.

Run defense should be "pretty good." will hold UF to less than 130 yds rushing.

UT is "dynamic" in return game....mainly CP.

This game is one of the biggest Dooley has had at UT. Reasons: 1) home game, 2) rival game, 3) division team to contend in east, 4) hadn't beat them since '04, 5) fan base will be electric.

Around the SEC:

ARK defense sucks. And Wilson took too many hits.

Tennessee is going to do what they do on offense. They're not going to line up in the I formation and try to pound Florida. The O line has blocked fine so far.

Sorry if already posted somewhere but is Couch ok? I think he was the only "injury" we had in the last game and the announcers said he was favoring his shoulder but it looked like to me he was just winded.

I for one am sick of all the running game talk. Jimmy and the others on the Sports Source act like we need to run it like Nebraska in the 90,s. Would it be nice, yea it would, but what this team does best is sling it all over the field to explosive WR's. We need to run it enough to hold the LB's on play action, and do what we do best, sling it.

Jimmy sucks, but I didn't really see anything hear I disagree with. We will find out a lot more about this Tennessee team after Saturday.

I'm curious about the wildcat/triple option. a part of me thinks we showed it against GA St. to give FL one more thing they have to practice/scheme against this week.

"Tennessee wears Orange. Kiffin had them wear black but Mike Hamilton lied to me about it. Lathers has been hurt a lot through his career. Maggitt is questionable and best. So he will either play or not play. Florida is in Gainesville. They have practices scheduled this week to prep for UT game. Floridas defense is REALLY good. UT can't get the ground game going." - third grade niece, I mean Hyams.

We've had a decent running attack on some BAD teams. Arian Foster's Freshman year comes to mind. In modern football, a prolific passing attack is simply more important.

We have that in spades.

I know the run game isn't up to 90's Nebraska level, but UT is averaging close to 200 on the ground with the modus operandi that they are a passing team. Am I completely happy with it, no. At the same time, I do not find it fair to say that there is no evidence that UT can run the football. Heck, someone posted on here that UT leads the East in rushing yards.

Why is it that, if I heard these comments from anyone else but Hyams, I wouldn't get pissed off?

Hyams just has a super-mega-arrogant douche bag way of coming across IMO.

He also has that incredible knack for being wrong, so anything out of his mouth that seems remotely truthful has to be met with a modicum of skepticism or out right anger.
