I was thinking the same. I drove down from VA to FL last night and it rained basically the whole way down.

Rain caused a lot of mami problems. Just not suited for that type of game. Need to throw a lot. But they will win next weekend against OU mark it down.

Canes have one of the toughest schedules, especially the first 4 games. They were bound to stumble on this game, if any. A win over the Sooners, even without Bradford, will be great for them.

i was at this game and the torrential downpour certainly played a factor, but both teams were playing in the same conditions...the hokies just dominated play from the start and jacory harris's heisman hopes got swept away like so many airplane bottles floating down the lane stadium steps.
