I know most of VolNation has watched this play a number of times. At the very end of the play Hurd knocks #3 down, it seems with very little effort. Looks like the guy is saying something that he didn't like. You can also see Coach Jones saying something to the dude before he walks away. Can anyone shed some light on this or what happened. I think this play showed the NW defense they were in for a long day.

Going to be a long off season. GBO

He flopped. Jones prolly said nice try. The kid was smiling. Jones was smiling.

The refs knew it was a flop. They were actually paying attention and didn't just call a foul because someone ended up on the ground.

One of the refs was laughing.

The famous flop...you see it in soccer and college basketball all the time(the NBA has started fining for it).
In soccer, the flopping player will act like someone broke his leg with a jackhammer until the foul is called, then he will jump right up and go on.
In basketball the flopping player is magically knocked down by the wind created by the opposing players arms moving around.

I think they had already realized they were in for a long day at that point since it was the start of the fourth quarter :)

Falling down >> penalty on us seemed to be working for them earlier in the game. That one was just too obvious I guess. :loco:

He would be a lock to become UT's all time leading rusher if he stayed in 2016... what a shame that he's transferring to Vanderbilt.

(and if you don't get the implied blue font idk what to tell you.)
