Hurd's Mom....Salty at Kamara.

Doesn't matter if he is a bust or not. No reason for a grown woman taking a shot at a 20 something year old for no reason.

We're grown people. Seen plenty of shots taken at kids YOUNGER than 20 on this board...for manufactured reasons.

The bad part is Hurd will go to a sorry azz team in a watered down league. Look like a super star and people will be sorry the head case split.

Seems like if he was going to play football again he would have enrolled in a new school by now. Especially if he wants to play a new position.

He should go into the supplemental draft.

He doesn't qualify for the supplemental draft. So not an option here. This kid has gotten so much bad advice and has spent way too much time reading his own press clippings. He cost himself millions and cost UT at least one game with his antics.

That's not consistent with Hyams and some other stuff I've read. He was required to finish the season with his team to qualify.

Players with "issues that affect their eligibility the next season". That can be orchestrated pretty easily. That "finishing the season" thing isn't mentioned.

I think the point is that he's not ineligible. He chose to leave his school. He is in fact looking to play elsewhere which would lend credence to the fact he is eligible to play. That's how I remember the discussion going and Hyams was pretty confident that Hurd was not eligible. I don't know and really don't care enough to research it myself. Just passing along what I heard discussed.

Well he's not eligible to play next season...depending on where he transfers...maybe that fits the letter of the law? 🤷
