I wasn't born yet when Larry Csonka played, but I've seen film. Hurd reminds me of him the way he runs. Just brings a nasty attitude to opposing defenders. He's just an old school, hard nosed runner.

His time here will be short but it will be fun keeping up with him on Sunday's. He will go down as one of my favorite Vols ever.

Hurd is a monster, I almost feel as if we a being spoiled with such an awesome RB. I really, really hope we have him for two more years.

I just loved seeing Hurd punish the Dawgs D after all the crap some of the Georgia D players were saying. He flat ran some of their asses over!

Wasn't his best night yardage-wise, earned every one he got and they were much needed.

Hurd is a special type of player that comes along once every decade.

If he was running behind a line like LSU, Alabama, Georgia, or Arkansas, he'd have over 1000 yards rushing already this season.

He averages almost 5 yards qfter contact. Problem is he usually gets hit 3 yards deep behind the line of scrimmage.

I'm glad he is a true VFL.

he is the best ,for what he has had for blocking i think he is the best that we have had in years, just think what he could do with georgias offinsive line

I've never been more proud of 2 Vols for giving there all like i'm proud of Joshua Dobbs and Jalen Hurd. Tennessee's future is very bright, no matter what the damn haters say some people aint gonna be happy unless we score 100 and have a few thousand yards.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!

I really really hope we have him for one more year.

A special talent like that doesn't need to take anymore hits than he has to when be ain't getting paid.

He'll be a 1st rounder in 2017.

I have heard analysts say Hurd reminds them of Marcus Allen. I cannot wait until next year when Hurd gets to run behind a good OL.

Imagine what Hurd would have done with Tiny and the boys in 2013.

he is the best player tn has had in a long time ,enjoy while you can - beast is all i can say if he had the holes other backs have he would be un believiable go bfo
