He's not so much "leaking" info as he is playing a rumor control role. Someone else starts a thread about Hurd considering transferring, and Vol74 comes in to provide a clearer and more complete picture. Someone else starts a thread about Hurd being injured, and Vol74 comes in to provide clearer and more complete info.

He didn't start either of these threads tonight, if I'm remembering correctly.

Yeah I guess.
Just going off of experience. I definitely wasn't rude in the "Hurd to transfer" thread. He laughed at me for daring to question an unknown, to me, posters credentials. Honestly, there seems to be a lack of "get over yourself" going on with him at times.
Just bring info, don't get testy, respect will come.
Like I said, if I brought the same info, I would get "who the hell are you". I would deserve it!!!
Why does he expect everyone to know the difference between he and I?

I haven't read through entire thread. When did the injury supposedly happen? As of 8 hours ago Tara posted " Only one more day" with a ton of positive posts about tomorrow's game.

No typos obsevered... you seam tobe still coherint, but I can't follow you for som reasonn. Soooo... met me at the Waffle House and we can get this figggerd out. Lady says deys room on the card.

Jones ain't much on discussing player injuries after the whole "North out for the season with a knee" fiasco back in August. Guess we'll see something to make it official if it's for real in the morning. I'm guessing it's real, and hope that it's not severe enough to put Jalen on the shelf.

Lol autocorrect is a huge help. And sadly there are no waffle houses within about 8000 miles of where I live :(

The confluence of Jalen's hamstring strain and his frustration with being coached to play injured is interesting. He complained about a need to get some relief from playing time, and now he has some relief from playing time. Probably for the best all around.

But Jalen does need to get it into his head that this is the career path he's on. He'll play sore, even play hurt, every year for the rest of his college and professional life. That's just how it goes. Every career comes with risks of some sort; these are his.


Wish the young man the best. Hope he and the rest of the team avoid injury while playing a hell of a great game tomorrow.
