Its possibly because the offense barely had the ball... and since we were behind and playing a team that knew running the ball is our bread and butter, we went to the air...which the players simply did not execute

Butch read this board and wanted to do what all the experts on here said so he threw the ball more.

Realistically, Arkansas adjusted their D and dared us to beat them passing. And we couldn't.

Bam! Halftime adjustments is a concept this staff sucks at. This staff puts a good plan together but when the other staff adjusts we cannot and then we suck again!

The play-calling was OK, I thought: We had 4 possessions in the second half--and on three of them we got little or no yardage on first down, whether by run or incomplete pass. Facing second and and third and long situations, we could not complete passes when it counted. We are not executing in the second half--run or pass. We completed only one pass to the TE.

Hurd is our bread and butter. We feasted on our bread and butter in the first half. Our dietary consultants (coordinator) decided little or no bread or butter was in order in the 2nd half.

Offense has too many negative yardage plays. Too much running sideways behind the OL which once again doesn't do a good job stopping penetration.

When they finally quit running side to side vs Florida they dominated the Los. Last night, they never stopped doing it. Ark had a lot of negative yardage plays.

WRs havent made a tough big catch all yr. If it's in their chest, they will probably catch it but Malone or Pearson can drop it there too. North is on a milk cartoon.

I bet Hurd now wishes he gone to Alabama or Memphis State..
Let's see how recruiting does this year.

Would have been nice if Williams would have made that catch on that last drive. Would have been nice if Malone would have adjusted and attacked the ball on the wr pass from Jennings. Counted one nice pass to Wolf and one nice pass to Josh Smith, everything else Dobbs threw downfield sailed on him.then it's just hitch this, hitch that, checkdown this, checkdown that. Reminds me of my high school playing days. We didn't win any games either.

So Arkansas had no tape on TN and decided to let us run up and down the field the first half before deciding to adjust.

Aint sure I ll buy that one.

We didn't have the ball much. And were down once we did get it. That why the crowd went nuts when Butch ran it three straight times in our last possession of the half which started with 3:30 left. We needed to at very lead pic up a couple of first downs to ensure they didn't get it back. At best, we needed to try to score there
