I call out those who bash the program. Period. If a person doesn't like that then don't bash my schools team.
And I don't think I've ever said anything disrespectful to you. All I did was ask you a question. I even did a search and couldn't find where you said he had a concussion. Another poster looked and only found what I found and that's where you stated "he got his bell rung".
Anybody thought broken rib from the hit he took.
Could have been a many things from that vicious hit he took. I'm thinking concussion now but he played after that so it's probably not that.
It sure wasn't a lower body injury though. Could be a rib issue or even arm/shoulder problems. The hit he took was more towards his upper body & definitely not his lower body.
Jalen is all Vol. If he didn't want to be here and get run into a brick wall 25 times a game, he would have left a long time ago.
What I find remarkable is how a kid trusted a coach enough to take a chance on him, come to this school when he could have went to any other school in the country, could have ran in a better offensive system, ran behind an NFL caliber line, could've had tons of accolades, could have been more healthy (you have no idea what his body looks like after the games) and coasted to the NFL.
Instead he stayed here, tried to help rebuild a dead program, and takes a beating on a weekly basis that you could never in your life endure. He made a mistake and let off the gas in one play, and now he is arrogant, selfish, has a bad attitude, and being compared to Arian Foster.
If anyone on this board does not see the self-less contribution that Mr. Hurd has made at his time at TN, then you're just a piece of .... fair-weather fan, and I promise from the bottom of my heart, you can truly all go .... yourselves.
I couldn't care less that Hurd thought about transferring because he was frustrated. He didn't and stayed here to put up with a bad oline and bad scheme fit. Will probably finish here with UT's rushing record and no off the field problems.
At this point he is a damn good VFL
True fans, no, absolutely not. The thousands of fans that sent him crazy, brutal threatening messages and ran their mouth about him all weekend, absolutely.
Remember, just because you don't know the truth about something, it doesn't make it any less true.
