And Little Man/Hayden/Garner on the same team

Yes and all 3 were starters in the NFL. Hard to believe... you don't often see 3 elites on same team. Little man was 6 foot 2 I believe... his nickname is a misnomer.

I still have a "Cobb/Webb" sweatshirt from back in the day...I think Webb is the best UT RB in the past 30 years...

Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, Travis Stephens, Johnny Jones, James Little Man Stewart....UT's had a few

Travis Stephens is my favorite and I've been around for 24 years. I'm a young gun.

Would be a big key down. 8-4 minimum next year. It's year three.
Technically it is year three. BUT CBJ's first year he came to us as coach very late, recruiting was effectively done when he was named coach. This year's freshman class was his first opportunity to recruit for a season and this next crop coming in effectively is his second recruiting class. Let's keep apples with apples and oranges with oranges.

I have been around a long time, Chuck Webb was special and the best before he got hurt. John Ward was asked one time who was the best running back in his time calling games, he said that was easy, Chuck Webb. I tend to agree with Mr. Ward. Jamal Lewis was probably the closest to Chuck Webb as far as talent and toughness running the football.

I recall when Jones was hired, everyone told us not to expect a bowl in the 1st year and that year 2 would be even worse but, year 3 would be the breakout season for UT in that fans could expect to compete for the SEC East title again. Well, here we are, and 6-2 in the SEC is very manageable next season if they go undefeated at home!
