Hurd injury?

With all the injuries this season, it is very apparent how shallow our depth is. As long as recruiting continues on its current path, I think our future will be just fine. We just need time for these kids to develop and mature.

Jalen will be fine. He somehow took a shot to the jaw (helmet), and was pretty dazed. He was not allowed to return. Precautionary. Will be fine for the bowl.

Lol man guys get worked up. The guy made the "soft" comment as a joke. Tee Martin was caught on video saying "jalen Hurd is so soft and terrible."

I think he got sandwiched between a couple of guys and it took a toll. Looked like he was ready to play through it but either Dobbs or some of the other guys noticed he wasn't quite there...so they sent him in to be looked at. My guess is both arm/shoulder that he was willing to play through, but he also had concussed symptoms that is going to hold him out for a minute....that's what it looked like to my drunk ass anyway.

Maybe he did, maybe not, but to joke about a freshman who has played like a man all year nobody I knows thinks it's funny!

He had a pretty nasty bruise on his bicept and they worked on his elbow for a bit. That said he also looked a little addled on the sideline too. Staring straight ahead quite a bit.

CBJ said in the presser that it was an extremity injury... TIFWIW

thanks!

we likely won't hear anything on Hurd until Jones next press conference, when they start Bowl practice in mid December. No way to know what Hurd injury is with the deception Jones uses on injuries

Are you f@&$%#* kidding me???? I hate to "feed the troll" but Hurd is one tough SOB. True freshman pounding the rock every single game, in the SEC no less and improving every week in speed and tackle breaking. To my recollection this is the first he's been injured and that says a lot given the amount of contact he's had

Again...

Jalen took a helmet to his jaw, and got rocked. He had trouble seeing before the beginning of the next play and called to the sidelines to be substituted. After he was removed from the game, he did not pass their "concussion screening" (whatever that is), and they would not let him return.

He also had a cut on his forearm that they were addressing on the sidelines, but it was very insignificant.

If that is all that amounts too then excellent news. Fits what we saw on the sideline.
