Breaks the record game 11, vs Mizzou. Will have 3 games to pad the record before declaring for the 2017 draft IMO.

I actually think this too. Right now I don't foresee him going higher than the 3rd or 4th round. And it's really not his fault, he just hasn't had a good line to play behind. I think he could raise his stock next year.

Hurds work man like numbers are also due to Defenses loading the boxes vs the run cause they don't think Dobbs can beat them through the air. They also know we tend to be a run first offense. As Dobbs continues to show he is a threat to throw Hurd will start seeing more room. Hurd is the right fit because he is a tough nosed kid that gets 2-3 more yard after first contact which tend to be early in the run. He'll get stronger as the year goes on.

It is somewhat remarkable considering the spotty OL play and that he's so often utilized in east-west scheming when he's a north-south type. He must've been frustrated at times.

We could've done much worse than Jalen Hurd.
