Hunt's words after the game

If you are going to discipline a guy, don't let him play. Fulmer let him play in the game. What kind of discipline is that. Apparently he believes it is best to punish the entire team instead by letting them lose behind the rushing of backs that aren't Coker's caliber.
I think he was trying to make Coker realize that hey, you let yourself down, and you let your team down. That's what you've gotta do. The job of a college football coach is as much to shape these kids into men aswell as football players. You have to take responsibility for your actions, its a team concept.

So when less talented players screw up they are kicked off the team or suspended for games? The only message Fulmer is sending is that the stars can get off with a slap on the wrist. I wish Coker had either played the entire game so we could have a shot at winning, or not played at all, so Fulmer would like even more of an idiot after a 27-3 pounding.

He had nearly 50 yards on one rush. Had he stayed in the game at least one facet of our team might have looked comparable to PSU's. Instead the outplayed us on offense and defense. I guess Wilhoit was better than their kicker, so the Vols win that battle. Too bad our offense only got close enough for one field goal.
