Kenny Britt and Michael Preston both did admirable jobs in his place, but him being inactive really hurt today.

Oh no! He is a bad kid. Titans should drop him. He is a thug. (Da'Rick critics sarcasm)

He wasn't playing with a lot of confidence early in his junior year, granted. He was just coming off major rehab of a torn ACL. Let's see you type your BS after you have surgery on your typing fingers. Worst injury you may EVER face.

I actually cut off my index finger and had to lie in an ER for 3 hours while the damn doctor who could put it back prepped for surgery.

I don't know what kind of pain he was in but I can tell you having your ****ing finger cut off is no fun.

That index finger is now about half an inch shorter but works...has no feeling though at the tip.

People get injured all the time.

Every day.

And yes...I am using a second post to make this comment...and some of you on here will have to deal with it.

HUNTER DID QUIT ON THE TEAM AFTER HIS INJURY!

Now, maybe he was scared to get hurt again and needed the money for his family. I can understand that. I can even respect that as a father.

But the man did not give his all for the team after his injury. And his fear caused him to drop many, MANY first down balls during crucial drives.

The game tape is evidence of that.

So when I asked 'does he still play scared?" it was a fair question.

Nobody will know what Hunter and Williams did to get suspended and lose their money for 1 game but I hope that helps both of them grow up and become more accountable for their actions.

Next...Hunter did play very scared alot during his last year as a Vol and he did hurt our team with dropped passes that he could have easily caught if he was trying.

He also went down really fast anytime a D player got anywhere near him and just gave up on trying to get extra yards.

That's also normal for alot of players after a ACL injury and surgery and many times the injury is 100% fine but it takes longer to get it out of their head and return to playing like they should and are able to.

About the Titans...

Bud Adams couldn't stay out of team things he should have and that's why he demanded that they draft Vince Young who was a huge bust when Coach Fisher wanted Jay Cutler.

That's also why Fisher got rid of Young and then resigned too because as long as Bud Adams was alive he would never be allowed to build and run a Titans team like he wanted and needed to do.

Now Addams kids and their spouses are in charge with 1 of his son-in-laws being the main man for the family ownership group and he's worked with Bud and the Titans for several years so he's not a complete rookie at NFL teams.

The next 2 drafts and seasons will tell all Titans fans how commited the ownership group is to winning or if they're only about making more $$$ like Bud was.

Personally I would dump CJ and Kenny Britt and draft a new QB and get a good backup QB because the current starting QB has loads of potential but gets hurt every season and isn't reliable and the backup QB has years of a track record for throwing lots of INT's and he'll never get them to a Superbowl.

Munch may not have what it takes to be a good Head Coach but he's also had too many starters injured while he's been trying to rebuild the Titans.

He did go out this past offseason and spent BIG money to bring in some proven Vets to try and hurry the rebuilding job but losing the starting QB and having a RB and a starting WR always dog it always hurts any team.

I really hate that my Vols and my Titans are both rebuilding and then has injuries that slows down things but that's life as a football fan.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

Munch should be fired for imitation of a coach. The stands are empty. Terrible football in Nashville.

Who would want his job? This thread is about a non-compliant player and the fans come down on the coach.

As a son I can say that I am very glad that my dad isn't a tool like you.

I ruptured my spleen racing motocross and spent a week in the ICU when I was 14, but I'm not going to compare my motorcyle injury to that of a major college football player.

Now that I think about it, I'm glad that my father isn't a moron, either.

I was at the game yesterday and even on the field pregame. Hunter was obviously in the doghouse and was in sweats during warm ups and on side line hanging his head. He is just crazy skinny compared to other players but he is fast. Titans issue was and is the qb position. Secondary gave up big plays when they needed stops but LF could light up anyone. That guy before the game was flat out in the zone running the perimeter of the field and stretching for at least two hours. Dude is legit. CJ was playing hardcore and much bigger in person than I thought. Kenny Britt is a poser, looks beasty but has stone hands. Wright played very well. Munch is nice as can be but word is he is done behind the scenes.

Linebacker coach for the Titans Chet something-vecchio threw ball with my son on the field and even though he was an all-american Nittany Lion he was complementary of where the Vols look to be heading.

The Adams family have a 50 yr track record. Other than the first 2 seasons of the AFL, where players worked second jobs to make ends meet, the Adams have never won a championship. In fact, only played for one and that was after the all-time miracle play in NFL history saved them from a first round defeat.

Argue with me all you want but the facts above are true and if you want to argue with a 50 yr track record, go ahead. If a business had a similar performance record, would you invest in it?

Pro football is about 2 things: making money (Adams was great at that) and winning championships.

FYI, the Titans make up about 80% of Bud Adams estate. While he would have been a rich man anyway (about $250 million) the Titans, valued at $1.025 billion make up the large portion of Adams estimated $1.250 billion estate according to Forbes. Expect the daughters and his late son's family to continue to ride the gravy train with no championships unless by blindass luck. JMO

NFL Titans sit Justin Hunter for violation - ESPN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans rookie receiver Justin Hunter is inactive Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Receiver Damian Williams also was inactive due to a violation of team rules.

Veteran Kenny Britt was expected not to play for the second week in a row, but he will be active in Hunter's place.

Hunter has been an increasingly effective weapon for the Titans. He caught six passes for 109 yards on Nov. 24 in Oakland and four for 114 yards last week at Denver.

The Titans selected Hunter in the second round of April's draft.

I hope he's not the next Kenny Britt!
