Hunter Can Be The Best WR To Ever Play On The Hill

Hunter had more natural ability than any WR I have seen at UT. If he sticks around for 4 years and continues to develop, he will be the best, IMHO. DaRick is a really nice receiver, but I just feel Hunter is better all around. His speed and jumping ability are incredible. He has great hands. He times his jumps perfectly. He needs to work on his route running and just continue to get better. The sky is the limit for both these guys.

I agree. Hunter still needs to get stronger and more physical. If he will focus on FB and continue to get stronger he's going to be unreal with all the other gifts he possesses. He has more pure talent than Rogers but Rogers is at that physical point Hunter needs to get too. Both are unreal talents at WR. Bray has some toys that's no doubt.

Joey Kent is the all time leader at 183 catches 2,814 yards 25 TD's.

Kent had 46 catches 679 yards and 9 TD's after his soph. year. (Of course Kent added 137 catches and 2,135 yards and 16 TD's his last two years).

So far Justin has 22 catches 561 yards and 8 TDs.

He also had Peyton throwing to him and no run game. Humm kinda like now lol..Hunter and Rogers should have more after this year than Kent after his Soph year. If they don't were in trouble.

True. Hunter is ahead of Kent's pace at this point. But that doesn't mean much considering how great Kent was his last two years.

Justin's receptions will not count his senior year because an NFL qb will be throwing them to him.

Hunter has a great chance to get the TD record here.

Rogers is a great #2 receiver. What about White Lightning Rogers?

I hope you are right by the end of his career. However, there are a lot of great receiver legacies here so let's enjoy the ride. Not ready to hang the jersey from the rafters yet

The funny thing is we'd all be talking about Da'Rick possibly being the best if Hunter wasn't here. I don't think you can praise one without praising the other. They are both phenominal athletes with limitless potential.

If Da'Rick gets physical and is willing to be the guy who catches balls over the middle, he will be just as good. Both of them moving around and learning every receiver position on the offense is key.

Hunter just seemed to pick it up faster and got on the field earlier

True, which surprised me. He made gigantic strides in the offseason. I think they both realize what they can be. They need to be mixed in in the slot, switching sides, etc. etc.

I think it depends on the route who is the better receiver. If it's a fade, I'm taking Hunter. If it's a screen, I'm taking Da'Rick.

Hunter demands safety help anytime he is on the field. Soon, they both will.

I have no real info but I would bet Da'rick finally decided he wanted to do it. Guys like him don't have to work as hard on the HS level. Hunter already had that from doing track and just carried it over to the football field. Again, JMO on the subject

Paul Fortenberry & Brent Hubbs

I honestly believe that. He has all the natural ability in the world and great hands. He's only a soph and he is a bona fide play maker. When he is a JR, look out.

He also seems to have a great head on his shoulders. Great attitude, hard worker, etc. Just seems to be a great kid.
