UT isn't a bad football team, no matter how badly some people wish they were. In fact, I won't be surprised if the Vols score 50 on OU Saturday night.

Pennington brought up an interesting stat yesterday on SportsSource about how many games in the SEC are being decided by one score this year. I forget the exact number but it was a big one (I wanna say like 57% or something like that). Bottom line is you're correct, with such parity you've gotta keep your foot on the gas and put it away. I felt like for the first time this season against legit competition we finally did that on Saturday. In my opinion not playing for halftime and actually drive down to score at the end of the half won the game. Kentucky had some momentum by bringing it to within 7 and we just snuffed it out on that drive.

Georgia's defense has took a major step back this year. It isn't vintage UGA. They are really hot about their DC and want him gone.

Not this year so far at least. I don't think OU is either though. Ole Miss was the first Top 50 offense they played and they made OU look pretty ordinary on defense. I think we'll put up similar numbers. Big question is can our defense get enough stops? OU isn't an offensive juggernaut but as this past weekend proved, they don't have to be to shred our D.
