The USA Today story is nothing. The first girl said that he didn't do anything sexual toward her. The second girl said that he stayed in the parking lot while she changed in the car, and paddled her. That is it. Not the best judgement maybe, but I don't think it was any ill intent on his part.

In all seriousness, if @Volman365 really had a source and the Briarcrest info just came to light, causing all of this delay, and it has a shred of credibility, Freeze won’t be hired by anyone... ever.

That Briarcrest story has been out for almost 2 years. The administrators at Briarcrest was not aware of anything either.

I don't disagree with looking into this issue. Overlook it and risk giving the program a black eye. We have the best potential candidate on the line and we're doing our due diligence. If our #2, #3, etc choices take other opportunities you can't blame them either. Seems like if it checks out ok we'll get Freeze. Otherwise we'll walk away and reset the board like Brice tweeted.

In hi school had a teacher hit on me once. At the time it made me feel ten feet tall but now, in my 50's, as I reflect back I'm feeling quite vulnerable and offended. I need some crayons and a good lawyer...

So how far do you go to check out a story where the girls said that it was nothing sexual in nature, BUT he made them feel uncomfortable. The changing in the corner is like nothing to see here....the changing in the car is nothing, unless he was standing by the car looking at her. Males paddled girls all the time.

most of this stuff probably happened when he had just gotten to Briarcrest....he was 23 years old. I am sure that he was very Religious then. They are always over critical of how women dress....no short skirts...no pants...no makeup...no jewelry. Most people that grow up in the south know very strict religious people like that.
