No, more like the offense gets better but the team doesn't win enough. It will be a Majors/Fulmer situation, only Taggert has nowhere close to the clout at FSU that Majors had at UT.

We have no idea what Pruitt or the administration has done but if history tells us anything it’s that UT will be choosing from third or fourth candidates while pretending it really tried for others. We are at the point where we are going to have to overpay for coaches. It isn’t that complicated

Also, did you take time to read the article? It doesnt say that the admin is one of the hurdles. It actually doesnt specifically name a hurdle. It does point to Randy Boyd saying that Pruitt has their permission. So, this article didnt really contradict me.
