Why the rule if it has nothing to do with the teams in the championship game? Don’t see us stealing any thunder from championship gAme unless it’s to do with being fair to the championship teams

Yeah, my hope got the better of me. My real connection to the program dried up after the first Gruden search due to retirement. Most people would be surprised how close Gruden was the first time around. This last time, it wasn't really ever considered.

Now I just rely on a couple of old childhood friends that usually get info from different directions, but when their info lines up, I'm usually late to the party.

I’m with you there, I think we all are just having fun with all this, well not everyone, won’t mention names. We know who they are. ;)

It, is not happening. The vote was a resounding no from the board. So much so that they didnt even take a vote so it was not on record.

I was also just informed by someone close to a member of the administration that Freeze will be announced today, though he didn't say it would be before the SECCG

I think it’s more of an agreement than a rule. This is the conference championship and it may be looked at a courtesy to have all the focus on that game.

Every time we have a coaching search there is a large segment of the fan base that has an unrealistic expectation of said coach that would fix our ills. Nearly every time said coach falls through and then the mob wants to burn every thing down, probably not for an OC but maybe for Freeze. I am just suggesting that we tamper our enthusiasm a bit and at least entertain the likely possibility it isn’t going to happen. I hope it does but these last several coaching searches have prepared us for a major letdown.

All I can say is, we will know when we know. I don't get caught-up in rumors and speculations. Remember the Gruden fiasco?

No, it’s called professional courtesy. It is the USA but there are some things you do and many that you don’t do.
