I can't give up my source, but it is a former legendary Vol. Coach Freeze to be announced today before SEC Championship game.

Do you guys think there would be a tactical advantage to announcing before or during the game?

I haven't read through to see who all replied to this already, but yes and no, depending on the coverage this gets during the game. If it's all negative, it won't really help. I don't think it will really hurt either, though. However, if it's mostly positive, it's going to get talked about a lot. Either way, it's a big, controversial hire, and his past aside, all exposure is good exposure in this case.
