This week is going to be a deciding factor for our postseason success. We win them both; we keep ourselves in line for a possible 3 seed. We lose them both, and we will probably be looking at a 6-8 seed.

I applaud Pearl for adjusting the rotation and keeping Swipersuck on the bench. There is a very clear difference in our post physicality with Williams back in the rotation.

The key to this stretch is Hopson, imo. Our other key pieces are playing pretty well. Maze has been playing excellent as of late, and Chism and Prince both have been providing consistent performances. Hopson must perform in the next two for us to be successful. Here's to hoping that he does just that.

We have to split this week no matter what. We always show up for Florida and I think we will win that one. I'm ready for Kentucky again, especially with a healthier Chism.

We could literally go 4-0 these last four and just as easily go 0-4. I wouldn't overlook Arkansas.

This. The way this team plays, you never know. We just don't match up well against Kentucky, not that many teams do, but if Kentucky shoots the ball like they did against Vandy, about 35%, then we have a shot.

I hate Kentucky so much I would almost take 1-3 in the last 4 games if our one win would be against them. I hate them as much as I hate Bama football.

If we go 2-2 then that puts us at 22-8 going into the SEC tourney so that would mean only 9 losses going to the NCAA tourney unless we win the SEC tourney, which will be overrun with the vermin from Kentucky since it's in Nashville. We need to win at least one game in the SECT and then we would be looking at record something like 25-9 which I think would be good for a 4-6 seed. We need to avoid the 8-9 seed at all cost. I would rather have a 10-13 seed than an 8-9 seed.

Yeah. With this team it's impossible to know. Florida is going to be a big game going into this final stretch.

I agree. If we drop the Florida game, that certainly doesn't inspire much confidence that we will beat UK or Miss. State on the road.

UT matches up very well with Florida - they have for the last 5 years.

Kentucky loves to play at Tennessee and you better believe they will be ready for the zone. To be in it, UT needs a monster game from Prince/Hopson/Maze.

Ya, I left him off because it's a given that Chism needs to have a huge game... He is UT basketball at the moment - this team would be horrendous without him.

My office is in downtown Nashville and the smell of bourbon and Drakkar takes over the city. I have to wear sunglasses so I am not blinded by all the gold chains and sweatsuits.

The way Kentucky has played on the road, we don't need a monster game to win. If we can shot about 45%, play great defense and hope that Hopson will finally show up, we can beat UK.

I really think this is a copout by Cal. To act like it was just shocking to see zone is stupid. Essentially every team they have played plays zone against them.

I'm not so sure it was shock that we played a zone as the shock that we played it so well and it was so effective taking Cousins out of his game. Cal has serious coaching problems if he did nothing to prepare his team for the zone. Wonder if he would feel the need to work on the zone if they were playing Syracuse?
