I agree, Hubbs doesn't know. It might be a good guess but nobody knows for sure.

Did Hubbs play college football or something? I always wondered where his "expertise" came from? Apparently, he has learned what he knows "on the fly" and really, you can't make a statement like that because no one knows for sure about that.

I'd tell Fulmer if we get to 8 wins we'll sit down and talk about his future.
Less than that he's gone.
If i was the AD of course. haha

I think the boys (boosters) set Fulmers corporate buyout last year with the extension and large buyout for when he does get fired he goes home with the lute.:)

It's 2 or 3 that are going to share it when it's all said and done...call it an investment.

Let's see, we should beat NIU, that would be 2 wins. Where will the rest come from? I don't see UGA, Bama, SC, Vandy, KY as wins at this time. Maybe Wyoming ans Miss St. That's 4 wins. Depending on how the coaches and players react from here on, that could be an inflated number or they could do a repeat of last year and win out except for getting shelled by Bama.

well the most wins we can have is 9 this yr. and no i'm not satisfied with 8 wins.
if it were up to me he'd done be gone lol

I am slowly being tempted to root against my beloved Vols.....or Fulmer at least, just so we can start afresh. I hope I am never forced to sink that low

This was before the start of the season.

Fulmer has a 147-45 record and is coming of an SEC Eastern Division title. His new contract includes several guaranteed raises and extensions based on his team’s success.

An SEC Eastern Division title earns a $100,000 raise along with his annual $150,000 base pay increase. A BCS bowl appearance without winning the SEC would earn $150,000 more, an SEC title $350,000 more and a national championship $850,000. Those raises would not be combined in a single season; only the raise for the top achievement is given.

For every eight-win season, he’ll receive an extra year on his contract.
