Campbell County! Absolutely killing it this season! 8-1 with a trip to Powell left. The QB (forgot his name) has over 2500 yards, 31 TDs and only 5 INTs all season. Crazy stats.

Elizabethton (8-1) plays Sullivan South (9-0) for the District 1 title tonight as both teams are 5-0 in the District. Elizabethton won 21-7 last year. The Cyclones lone losss was the Johnson City (Science Hill) by 40-35! Both Sullivan South and Elizabethton are averaging over 43 points per game. Will it be an offensive or defensive battle? Stay tuned for results!

Campbell County finished 9-1. Never thought I'd live to see the day. We were terrible back in my day. Great season for those kids.

Agree! We only won 1 game when I played lol. I transfered to Oak Ridge my soph year so only played one year there.

Gibbs has been playing tough but CC should beat them Friday night. West is a different story. Would be extremely tough to take them down.

Yeah. Saw the bracket and thought West is a tough 2nd round matchup if they get that far.

The TSSAA didn't do you any favors that's for sure. You never know what you're going to get from Gibbs and West is a real good team.

Even though I'm not a CC fan it was nice to see you guys have the year that you had. The runs not over yet so good luck.

Elizabethton beat Sullivan South Friday night 28-27 to win District 1, Class 4A. Both teams finished the season at 9-1. The Cyclones were 6-0 in the district with the only loss to Johnson City by 5 points.

I was at the Gibbs vs CC game earlier in the season...Gibbs should have one that game as well.

Going with Gibbs getting the upset this Friday. Sorry Cougar fans.

Always cheered for Campbell County at the Jamboree. West is pretty banged up right now. We had 3 starting OLs out last week, a WR and our starting OLB is done for the year. We're also pretty young, but we have some athletes.

Looking forward to the game in a couple of weeks.

Henry County beat the brakes off of Kenwood tonight 52-8 to move to 11-0 on the year. We host Memphis East next week. Should be a great game.

Ehh. Gibbs didn't play like the last three games. Also, cc didn't abandon the run game either.

I don't see Campbell county beating West though

boyd buc - had a bye, now has marion county

east hamilton and ooltewah face each other this week


pretty good year to be a high school fooball fan in chatt-town

Cleveland High beat White County 42-8, plays at Rhea County next week.

Bradley Central lost at Maryville 42-21. That game was closer than I thought it would be.
