How's everyone feeling today?

I feel like I did before the Cal game in Knoxville in 2006. Very confident. Hopefully the season is just as successful.

Well my work truck ,mysteriously , started leaking power steering fluid , transmission fluid, and motor oil . So I had to call off work today . Today of all days , Go Figure . Trust me its out in the driveway with the hood up .

Just landed in ATL, meeting my buddies a little later. Partying near the dome then watching the rebirth of Tennessee football.

Life is good.

I feel great. Just picked up the kegger and food. I feel much calmer than I did in the opener last year. Of course that game was never in doubt, which makes it even weirder. I guess I am calmer than before the Cincinnati game as well.

Right now, we are undefeated. I think we will roll over NCST (no offense to them), but if we don't, I have learned the last few years that one game does not make a season. I have also learned that losing sucks but there is exactly nothing I can do about it except keep cheering the boys on. Which is what I will do.

As I say, the worst day spent as a vol fan is better than the best day spent as a fan of any other team.

just found out we're closing the office 2 hours early today! NNNOOOOO, that is gonna make the wait seem so much longer. I guess i have time to drive to atlanta, wish dooley good luck, and make it back to chattanooga to watch the game.

Hungover... I have a long drive Saturday morning, so I did my drinking for the weekend a day early.

Now, as for how I feel about the game... I CANNOT WAIT.

To consume time while waiting for the game today, I will be watching either or both blu-rays:

Ghostrider: Spirit of Vengeance
Battleship

My wife is making me go to a water park(even though i have been talking about this game for awhile now) so I'm turning off all electronics, already set the DVR upand when i get back I'm going to watch it like it hasn't happened yet.

wouldn't even have to worry about it if i wasn't in cali because the game is on at 4:30 pm here...

Today was made worse by the fact I had to open at work at 6am... A later start would've made the day a lot easier.

I got that nervous feeling i got right before a game, ready to throw up and get into it. Thank God for beer its calming me down now, but these last few hours suck going by slow. Damn, I'm ready for it ready to sing some rocky top all night!!!

It has been a long time since I have been this nervous and this excired all at the same time for a season opener. Go Vols!

Jet lagged...got back last night from Asia. Body is aching with this nervous anticipation. This should be a very good game and aobut time too.

:pepper: Can you feel it? Can you feel it? :pepper:
