You didn't see what happened before. On the prior play that same dude got pancaked by Darnell and got up throwing fists. It was obvious from the stands and should have been a flag before. Darnell used it as an opportunity to get into his head and get free yards.

It was a brilliant football move.

Uh, Ole Miss does it on DEFENSE to illegally (at least it should be) steal timeouts and stall the opposing offense. Darnell plays offense and was actually the victim of personal foul and was adding some emphasis to gain the attention of the official to throw the flag. Ole Miss play is bush league and deserves all the criticism they get.
