Howard to the Lakers

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein.

I hope that clown wrecks the franchise

I hope the NBA decides to go the route of contraction and Indiana is one of the teams included. I don't even want to watch the NBA anymore but have been a huge Pacers fan for a long time. It's not their fault the league is God awful so I can't just turn my back on them. Crossing my fingers that NBA makes the choice for me.

Can't believe Bynum and what will most likely be the 28th-30th pick is all the Lakers had to give up for Howard.

I don't care what the ratings say, super teams are making it so the league isn't even enjoyable. Bandwagon fans ignore it and don't care but it's totally taken the fun out of being a small market team. What's the point? You get a top pick and develop them into a superstar just so they can bolt in their prime without winning you a championship.

Chris Paul
Deron Williams
Lebron James
Carmelo Anthony
Chris Bosh
Amare Stoudamire
Dwight Howard

Look for Demarcus Cousins to leave or demand a trade in a couple years. If Anthony Davis lives up to the hype, he'll never win anything with New Orleans and he'll leave too. Kyrie Irving will probably bolt as a free agent as well. And so on.

Should just get rid of every team except LAL, LAC, NY, Brooklyn, Chicago, Miami, Dallas and Boston.

ugh

Knicks, Nets, Pacers and Sixers can all beat Boston.

Assuming the Bulls make the playoffs even with Rose out most of the season, Bulls with Rose can beat the Celtics as well.

The Celtics had a great offseason. The only team in the east beating them is Miami.
Bass, Garnett, Lee, Fab, Rondo, Pierce, Pietrus, Terry, Sullinger

I am a Detroit Pistons fan, watch the only team without a superstar win a title since the late 70's, and think the league is doing fine. The league is fun with superteams.

Magic are idiots. They got nothing for him. Afflalo is a nice player, but he's not even close to what they could have scored. I guess they just want to rebuild with a #1 pick.

3 1st round picks aren't too shabby. If they would have waited 6 more months, they wouldn't have got jack.

I'd put my money on Knicks or Nets over Boston. Their time is done with IMO.

But LA! Wow! That is a championship team right there. If Kobe is healthy and Nash plays to his abilities, not even Miami touches the Lakers

Knicks and Nets have shown me nothing to prove they'll be higher than a 4 seed in the east. I hate Boston as much as anyone, but they got a lot better.
