How would you prefer the Florida game to end?

What would be the point of UT getting their allotted possession? They'd be up; the tie is over. The game would end if, in overtime, any defense scored.

Are you sure it counts as a score though? I thought it would just be a failed effort by UF and the score would still be tied.

Last play of the game....We are on the 15 yard line and we run toss sweep right...And Nuke takes the reverse pitch and sprints to the opposite sideline and dives for the endzone....Spike makes a great play to try and stop him but Monterio Hardesty blows him up and knocks his helmet off.....After we score the place goes silent you can hear every symbol and flute as the "Pride of the Southland Band" begins to play and our players erupt on the sideline and Smokey and the gang run down the middle of the field with the VOLS flag just blowin in the breeze.....Then the same night every prospect we are recruiting call and give their verbals....and top QB prospect out of nowhere decommits and signs with Tennessee....
THEN I WOULD BE OUT GETTING BLACKOUT DRUNK.........I WOULD BE THE MOST ABNOXIOUS FAN EVER THAT NIGHT IF WE WON THIS GAME....

I am really not sure either!?!

It is either a dead ball int or a TD game over. It may be a dead ball but again i'm not sure.

I wish someone would clear this up, maybe I've learned something. But, I'm almost positive all that would mean is that UT would then get their possession and would need a field goal to win. Obviously you would be correct pursuant to the NFL rules, but in a college ot I don't think it matters what a defender does after an interception, it's simply a no score for the opponent.

I am not that smart but I can Google with the best of them!

Yes the defense may run an interception or fumble back for a TD during OT. If on other than a Try the game will be over following a TD by the defense.

OT consists of 2 series with each team putting the ball in play by a snap on the 25 yard line [barring a penalty enforcement]. Each team retains the ball during the series until it scores or fails to make a first down. The ball remains alive after a change of possession [fumble or interception] until it is declared dead. Team A may not have1st & 10 again if it possess the ball again after a change of possession [A-B-A].

If Team B intercepts a pass, or recovers a fumble or backward pass or blocks a Team A field Goal[other than on a Try] and scores a TD the OT Period and game ends.

Eric Berry picking off Tim Tebow in the endzone after a hail mary.

It won't happen, but it would be *****in.

^ This!
But Eric Berry returns it for a touchdown and Tim Tebow gets his lights knocked out on the return by Rico on a dead sprint :muahaha:

Any interception thrown by the first team on offense that gets taken back by the defending team would end the game and count as a touchdown.

Basically the first team would have scored 0 points on their possession, and since the turnover is a change of possession the touchdown would win the game for the intercepting team.

how about florida up by 5 with 0:16 left in the 4th,we have no time outs and they kick it back to us and we run the kick off back for a TD

Yeah, I understand, I just didn't think that was considered a touchdown.

I think it would be hilarious for us to be up 3 and Tebow hit a WR and he is streaking for the endzone with the gator faithful cheering so loud and before the WR steps in the end zone EB pops it out of his hand for a touchback. Ball game we win lol.

The Gators at the Tennnesse 40 yard line near the left hash in spread formation. Tebow takes the snap and rolls to his right. Wes Brown the Tennesse defensive end is right on his heals. Tebow, right in front of the Gator bench is looking downfield. Oh my, he has a wide open reciever. Tebow plants....WTF....Where did he come from? #14 Eric Berry just blasted Timmy Tebone. And OMG it looks like Head Coach Urban Meyer is down as well. And it's pandamonium in Gainsville. Janzen Jackson has picked off the wounded duck and is racing down the Tennessee sideline. 50...40...30...20...10...Touchdown Tennessee. The heavily favored Gators have lost to the unranked Tennessee Volunteers. The silence from the Florida crowd is deafening. Coach Meyer and Tim Tebow are still on the ground. The word from the field is that Coach Meyer is sustained a blow to the groin area and is unconcious. Tebow's facemask has been shattered and his face is covered with blood. Is that blood on the front of Coach Meyer's pants? This doesn't look good folks.

Being realistic...

I'd like to see our first team offense still on the field playing with every bit of energy they can muster to drive the ball against the UF 3rd team defense eventhough we're losing by 25 points.

In a few words... just don't quit, Vols. That's embarrassing.

I would like to see Rogan at the end of the game buying Tebow and the UCLA Qb one drink and two straws.

Up by 40 with Kiffin calling a time out to allow the entire team to go on the field and draw an unsportsmanlike penalty for urinating on Tim Tebow.

Vols up by 3, 0:26 on the clock, Gates have the ball on our 22 yard line, Tebow drops back for one more shot at the end zone, EB intercepts it deep in the end zone and, instead of taking a knee, runs straight for teblow, EB runs him over, pauses, flashes the heisman pose, then takes it to house, and does the gator chomp.

Could not have dream it better myself!

+1

And then I got back into the Delorean, made sure the flux capacitor was still working correctly, and returned to 2009.
