We beat BYU, UTC and head down to the swamp and upset Florida.

1. Do you start breathing again?
2. Is Pruitt back on your good side?

If this happens I’ll be happy again I think. I gotta admit Saturday has really bummed me out and this is what needs to happen for me to feel better.

I’m a hugh Pruitt supporter and I’m giving him 100% support for 3 more years. I think it takes 4 years to build a program from where we are. Look at Clemson and Dabo. I think Pruitt can do it but Saturday’s like last Saturday suck.

I also agree with Erik Ainge and Brian Rice this morning on their show, I think Pruitt and company were game planning for BYU and Florida and looked past our “cupcakes” that snuck up on us and ran the option.

I will be extremely happy if that happens. Because that will mean maybe the ship has been righted and things may be looking up.

But I will never forget this loss. And Pruitt will still be on a prove it level as far as I am concerned. I sure do hope we can win the next 3.

Personally I would be on a natural high.

However it will take a while (for me at least) to trust Pruitt, and even think he may be the answer........I don’t think he is.

Funny how we are playing the what if game now to try and validated our feelings. You want to support Pruitt go right ahead but name a single coach of ours in the last 30 years that we could actually expect to beat Florida.

The next 3 games Vols will be lucky to go 1-2. No way they sweep 3-0. Even if there’s a QB change they still not winning all 3....

With players on the team tweeting out things like Ga State stole our money to the clueless press conference today I have zero hope ole cornbread will Saturday or at the swamp. I think we are 1-5 and looking at why in the world is this guy getting paid so much

I mean I guess hypotheticals and hoping is all we have left, but yeah sure I'll feel better.

But if GSU's lines whipped our asses then lord knows what UF's lines will do.

If we go 3-0 over the next 3, everyone will calm down. However you will have folks saying as a knock to Pruitt “we should be 4-0!!!”

3-1 with a win over UF is better than 3-1 with a loss to UF. I’ll take it

BYU maybe because I'm not sure they are very good. Yeah probably better than GSU but every game is different.

But Florida....this is the yearly "But if we beat Florida all is good" hope and a prayer. And these same people will be asking why anyone expected to beat UF at all after the game.

This theory would hold water if Pruitt stopped the mass subs in the second half, but he didn't. If we played out best players in the second half, we likely win.

Why did Pruitt keep subbing?

Anything can happen any given Saturday but this team just has to come together and play like they want it.
