How will Dooley deal with Bray?

You guys crack me up. Committing two felonies is a lot more serious than shooting signs with paintball guns. Someone who has no respect for other's property does not deserve a scholarship. He has lost me as a fan.

I don't know what is more sad. That you feel this way, or that you think anyone, including Tyler, gives a ****.

The other thread is so full of funny guys that you can't have a serious discussion.

I think Dooley has already looked Bray in the eye and asked for the whole story. If it's "just" throwing bottles and balls at the first woman's car, I see some sort of suspension. All or part of the NC State game would hurt like hell, but would not be a shock. I think Dooley has some backbone and would be willing to make a statement about the future of the program at the risk of losing a key game.

If Bray says he knows nothing about busting the second woman's windshield and does it with conviction, that's it. Story ends and healing begins.

But if Bray blinked and if Dooley thinks he was being BS'd, you know he bored in like the ex-lawyer he is and I think Bray gets the boot. Previous indiscretions on the strip or wherever may come into play, even if they are not huge. The cumulative affect thing hurts a guy's case

What do you think?

He will not get suspended for any games. Dooley knows his ass is on the line this season. Maybe some wxtra running or community service and i truely doubt that.

So which coach does players respect if your standard is no one getting in trouble?

I would just hope that the natural leader of your team could be convinced not to be a knuckle head for at least one season. This is some 12 and 13 year old crap he's doing.

If I was coach, he would ride the bench for NC State. There are more important things than winning. Ask Penn State.

Just about the most lame post I have read in a long time. Time to compare apples to apples. Compare it to egging a car seems about right.

Just answer the question. You put it out there now tell me which coach fits your standard? Also, which QBs do you view as leaders in the NFL? Simple questions.

Any coach thats comes out during media days and brags about the amazing maturation of not only his QB but the entire team. That coach!

Actually, defaming a traffic device is about the same level as a windshield. Hell, we don't even know that HE broke it, just that he was throwing ish off his balcony a couple days before and got the cops called on him. If girls in Knoxville are half as dramatic as the ones here, I bet money she just jumped to that conclusion. Believe it or not, this is a pretty common incident on campuses nationwide. Sorry to break it to you but you support 18-22 year old kids that drink, party, and enjoy their college years just like the rest of us did, or do.

this was a one time occurance, you have got to be kidding me, dude makes a dumb mistake and everyone wants him gone/suspended. Plus its not even confirmed that he was involved in the second case, your an ignorant fairweather fan.....oh wait your not a fan anymore.

It's as plain as this. UT students don't want to see Bray get in trouble. We know what that does for the program. As someone who lives in that apartment complex, I can tell you all that I have, on several accounts, seen Tyler out on his balcony acting a fool. Whether that be blaring his rap music, smoking (cigs) or throwing beer bottles. (Correct, this isn't the first time it has happened, just the first time that someone has reported it.) If it was my car that got hit I would have done the same thing that that girl did, no matter how big of a VFL I am. I'm not saying that Tyler is at full fault here, as I also know that his roommates are not student athletes and probably act as stupid as the rest of us do when we've had to much to drink, but he has to know as a student-athlete and the leader of an SEC football team, that you have to hold the ones around you just as responsible as the community does you. this isn't a football issue so I assume there will be no PUBLIC punishment for our Bray, but if I were Dooley I would make it known that this should never happen, now or ever again. This isn't about Dooley's job, guys. It's about our immature quarterback who needs to get his head out of his you-know-what and play the game he's getting a free ride to one of the best schools in the south to play.

No, it doesnt.

Name a school that hasnt had players doing immature college kid stuff. Florida had a kid threaten to kill his girlfriend. One passed out drunk at a red light. Heaven forbid one of ours do something a 10th as stupid as those things.

Oh no a college student with rap music, cigs, and beer. Ban him!

This thread is comical too. Folks still questioning whether the guy did anything, after he already fessed up and agreed to cover the damages. If he weren't a UT athlete it would be different. If most fans woke up and went out into their driveways, only to find broken glass everywhere, dents on their car, and a broken windshield, how upset would you be? It's senseless and stupid, and something no starting SEC qb should be involved in. Then you find out it was a 20 year old kid who is not even of age to be drinking beer. Then, the kid finds out the neighbors told on him and their car gets damaged. The bad publicity that goes with the qb position doing anything out of line is something this program doesn't need. If Dooley doesn't discipline him, and yes, I'm talking extra work, or a week on the practice sidelines or something relatively minor, then Dooley has really given up and is just focused on keeping his job at all costs. When your starting qb does something this stupid, the coach has to set an example.

That makes zero sense. So Dooley is only coach who cited maturing as a team?

All im saying is this is a bad sign IMO, you surely dont have to agree. I really dont think it means that much. I do think that a real lack of maturity could cost us a game this season if indeed we truly havent matured as a team.

and if he is high...it aint on pot. pot dont do that to you. maybe meth or something

Ohhh jesus. I wasnt saying Bray was high, i was saying whoever even thought about giving him the boot for this act must be high chattavol. I put my comma in the wrong spot, sorry.
